6. Brosmer should be QB 2. He has a true upside. He has that calm body language that shows the moment is not to big for him. Rypien has no business being a QB in the NFL. Sam has not shown that his experience is a factor in his play. Show some intestinal fortiude KOC and earn the QB guru tag and make Brosmer your project after JJ.

8. It’s no surprise that Mackey would pick Howell over Brosmer for QB2, he never have a decision on his own he said this because Pete Versage takes on Howell. Brosmer is clearly better in every way than a Howell. Howell play experience in the NFL has been a complete disaster but Versage and Mackey acts like it’s some kind on positive. Brosmer may not be QB 2 but he’s better than anybody else on the roster right now. I say we don’t have a QB2 on the roster right now, go get Pickett for QB2 rehab

9. Brosmer looks fantastic. I think they'll bring in a veteran back up still and hold onto Brosmer as number 3. But I really want Brosmer to back up JJ and they have fantastic careers together.

11. I've always liked the idea of having an athlete, like backup QB or WR or RB hold the kicks not only for the hands, but the added athletic ability to use in a fake or if there is a botched snap.

12. He's YOLO, but I want Jameis as the backup for the entertainment value and potential to catch lightning in a bottle. Good locker room guy. He's in a weird spot with DangeRuss (limmmitlesss), Dart and Cutlets in the mix there.

13. JJ leads us to the playoffs, gets his leg snapped in game 1 late in the 4th but wins the game, Brosmer comes in and leads a Nick Foles-like run to through the playoffs to win the big bowl.

15. Even if you didn’t know much about football and asked someone who watched that game, “which of the 2 QB’s is the starter?”. Universally people would say Brosmer. His demeanor, poise, and quick decisions are obvious to the naked eye.

16. You guys have mentioned Brett Rypien's interest in coaching. If Rypien makes it onto the practice squad, would he still be allowed to participate in Vikings QB meetings with KOC & Wes Phillips.

24. I was at the game last night and really liked Brosmer and how he processes things. He didn’t look panicky either. Some very nice throws. Our WRs didn’t help him a ton either. As your PD Tennessee Vikings POC there was a ton of purple in the stadium last night!!

25. I think there's a middle ground with Brosmer. Unless they find a better option on the waiver wire, I think he's the eventual #2. If JJ can survive the 1st quarter of the season, and Brosmer continues to impress, there's no reason he couldn't be the #2 at that point or later in the season. He KNOWS the system and can run it seamlessly. Who are they going to find on the waiver wire that can do that in the first two weeks of the season?

26. The announcers said it well, if this was a team just playing then you can put Max at QB2, but the Vikings want to make a run so it’s probably too risky for this team at this time.

30. Vikings need to trade for Kirko Chainz to backup JJ if at all possible. There's not a legit #2 on this roster. If JJ goes down, this team is sunk. They spent far too much time, effort & money into this year's squad to let that happen.

32. Brosmer definitely seems to understand how to play quarterback. Which is the most important thing. The next question is his physical tools. His tools seem a bit limited. But you could say the exact same things about Brock Purdy. I’m pretty excited about Max Brosmer.

33. Powell leaves too many free yards on the table. Would ratger see Price, who's more determined.

34. Going the UDFA route is not sustainable. You have to draft better and you need to develop and Scout better. We are not doing a very good job of that.!

    I'll give Kwesi and KOC a break because it's their first draft as the top guys AND using the info from scouts they just met… also… Ed Donatell was there influencing for his defense. 2005 didn't have that… they had a HC there for years and decision maker.
