Why was Guccione so upset about that legitimate challenge?

He’s a douche? I noticed that too, he was incensed that anyone would challenge him. Serious cop-vibes.
cuz he got his pride hurt.
Mad that his plan to help LA win didn’t work.
I think he was upset cause arraez blocked his field of view.
I was wondering that too
Made a bad call and got called out. I think hes crew chief as well…. embarrassed him infront of his dudes

Same energy
If you watch the replay, luis was directly blocking the umps line of sight of the play at first base. I think he was just upset, thinking, “How am I supposed to make an accurate call?”
Initially I thought it was arrogance, being like, “Why are you doubting me, I’m right, you’re wrong, can’t believe this” etc.
But seeing the play again, it’s possible that Arraez might’ve accidentally obstructed the view of the ump on the plate, and he was gesturing like “well I mean I couldn’t see anything either what do you want from me?”
Seems like he was annoyed that he was blocked by Arraez
I thought maybe someone said something. Can’t imagine he’d be upset at a challenge when literally it was so obvious
I don’t think there was any ill intent from the ump. It’s very clear that his view was obstructed by Arraez so he couldn’t make the correct call. It looks like he wasn’t upset about the challenge but instead about the view obstruction.
He wasn’t upset, watch the replay again, he was laughing that he was forced to make a call after Arraez moved directly in front of him entirely blocking his view of the play. Thank goodness Padres still had their challenge otherwise it would’ve been a costly mistake by Arraez blocking the umpires view of the play.
He had money on the soyers
Because Umps are little bitches when you dare question them, especially when you’re right
Honestly if you watch replay again, I think ump is turning his head to Arraez and basically saying “DaFuk you move right on the line in front of me?”
Showing up the guys playing the game is not ok, his body language is that of one whom would be his asked off a job site In a sec. Sack up and do the job kid. Arraiz made the call anyway, he had the best view..FTD
Some of y’all seriously letting your ump hate get the best of you. It was an extremely close play and his view got accidentally blocked at the worst possible time. It doesn’t look like he is upset that his call was challenged. It comes across more as frustration that he didn’t have a clear view.
This is a nothing burger. Guy couldn’t really see and it worked out. Lets not bitch about something that didn’t even go wrong
I thought he knew he fucked up
Like “Out!, oh shit!”
I’m on the he’s not upset side. Seems like a good dude who’s trying his best lol
