  1. One of those “flush and move on” games. Yesterday was awesome, tomorrow is huge. Rest up

  2. Got a little nostalgic hearing BA and Rock shoot the shit in a lopsided losing effort for the Crew. The natural riffing ability and chemistry from that duo is bar none. Missed it!

  3. We take Vaughn out of the lineup and have our most lopsided loss since July 30th

Gotta take the series all we need to do the rest of the way to get the division. Ray will be tough, but we still should do much better than tonight.

  4. My biggest takeaway outside of the fact we need to get healthy fast, is why the fuck did we send Myers down?

Unless I’m missing something obvious, this seems like the perfect game he could’ve pitched in. Let alone, the fact that our starters outside of Quintana can’t exceed 5 innings.

  5. Sometimes punt games like this are required during the long grind of a MLB season. Doesn’t mean I have to like it.

  6. A lot of strange comments in that Game Thread. With the cushion they have, and the injuries that are piling up, and the part of the schedule they’re in with the 19 games in 18 days, I would say refrain from panicking so long as they take 2 of 3.

There are going to be some individual clunkers here in the late dog days.

  7. On a side note, Chourio is 0-7 with 3 Ks and 1 walk in his two rehab assignment starts. We got reinforcements incoming!

  8. i turned off the game after murph brought in Rodriguez and realized it was a punt game

  9. Bad game. Hopefully charging up for tomorrow. Sad that starters seem always to go short. Bullpen will be dead of this keeps up.

  10. Gonna refer to this one as the Checkpoint Charlie of Grant Anderson’s Major League Career

  11. Y’all can blame me. I’ve been to over 20 games at home this year. We have a .190 win percentage in games I’ve attended.

  12. Cant win em all. Figured this was going to be a questionable game with this lineup and on the defensive side.

    Eh get em tomorrow.

  13. schedule’s about to get a whole lot tougher. really need to stop dropping winnable games. hopefully the bats start to wake up a bit, been a pretty desultory performance at the plate lately
