  2. We had 21 games this month prior to this one. We scored more today than 10 of those 21 games combined.

  3. Get the runs in tonight so we get a good pitchers duel tomorrow followed by an Angel’s bullpen implosion.

  4. I think it was very clever of Kyle Tucker to have one more game of being total ass at the plate before this series started and fooling us into thinking he was never going to hit a ball with authority again.

Much needed easy win. Cade looked great. Ben Brown did his job with minimal damage. Tucker had a monster night. McGuire had the surprise big blow (or big jerk?) of the game. Caissie had one of the hardest hit balls I think we’ve seen from a Cub all season.

And now we’re in position for a sweep.

  5. Kyle Tucker had as many extra base hits (4) the last two games as he did in his previous 39.

  6. Elise: you were missing balls in the middle of the plate before, why are you successful now?

    Tucker: I’m not missing those

    lmao

  7. Man the three consecutive questions about tuckers performance was a bit unnecessary, could have asked him just once and then focused on the positives

  8. Now’s the time for the Cubs to get hot, we don’t face a team above .500 until September 19th and that’ll be against the Reds.
