  1. That’s three in row! We officially have a streak going!! Let’s finish the sweep tomorrow!!

  2. Unexpected shootout after a nice start with the bats thanks to Correa, Sanchez and Caratini, but fortunately the offense still kept pace and did enough to get another win.

  3. Huge shout out to Victor Caratini. Dude was an amazing signing and a staring lineup quality player. Have stepped up big for us the entire time hes been here. Really helped us stay afloat this season. Just a great player we all need to appreciate.

  4. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I announce I do not have Blubaughs.

  5. Well managed game with our offense showing up!

With Yordan and Meyers hopefully back, we may be able to duck tape some starters into the bullpen and make a late season run boys!

    LETS GO ASTROS!

  6. Saw that Cortes has a perfect game bid against the dodgers and the first pitch I got to watch was for a hit lmao

  7. Arrighetti is gonna be left to die on that mound tomorrow good or bad

Abreu is an amazing closer, who’d have guessed that. The rest of the bullpen, utterly terrifying. None of our starters besides Hunter and Jason fucking Alexander fill me with much confidence right now.

But, we won. And Walker, worth the wait, take a bow, all that. Correa is the heartbeat. Gimme Yordan and Jake and maybe even Paredes, and this team will compete with anybody.

  8. Scary that they needed all 9 runs. Glad we’re remembering how to hit.

Shout out to Blue Balls and Abreu locking it down.

  9. 10-run curse be damned (again). We just followed it up with a 9-run showing.

Walker has been a home-run machine. Abreu has locked it down. Sure, the pitching is leaving a lot to be desired, but the offense has showed up in a big way and now we’ve won 3 in a row and could complete the 4 game sweep tomorrow afternoon.

    Yordan is coming…

  10. Imagine losing one of, if not the best reliever in baseball and replacing him with one of the best relievers in baseball

  11. August 10th through August 20th- 26 Runs

    August 21st through August 23rd- 26 Runs

  12. As I’ve been saying since 2023, Abreu would be a closer on at least 20 other teams (and at this point the only closer having a better season is Chapman.)

So glad he’s finally getting a chance to prove himself.

He’s now 12 for 12 with a 0.00 ERA in 9th inning save opportunities in his career. NAILS

  13. When the pitchers give you 9 innings of shutout baseball, the offense doesn’t score a run.

When the offense drops double digits, the pitching staff does their best to ensure the opposing team does as well.

    This team, man. Yeesh.

  14. Looks like our guys are getting their groove back at the plate, and not a moment too soon! Badly needed with our pitching woes of late.

Great win, let’s keep it rolling.
