  1. Main question with Z, whatever position he plays, is whether he gets his mojo back. If his compete level returns, it will lift the offense and the team.
    Question with new coach is whether he can reorganize and motivate the team- and whether he will sit or trade the slackers. Will there be accountability? Will young guys get a meaningful chance?

  5. This Mika on the RW is delusional. Do you want a two line team or a 3 line team? Who plays center on the 3rd line? Parsinnen? Brodzinski? Really? Mika has been a center most of his career & a good one for the most part. Last year was an aberration. Put it in the past! The single most important thing this year will be the coaching & system of play, not whether Mika plays C or RW. The key for on ice play will be development of the young guys & how they perform. Patience will be required & appropriate coaching. This is a transition & development year & will be a bounce back year for the vets, without all the negative distractions of last year.

  6. Who knows maybe the collapse was a system issue? The players lost the will to play hard and that could be from the belief in the system. The continuity was lost when trade after trade happened and line mates were shuffled more than a deck of cards at a casino. All we can do as Rangers fans is hope they become competitive again because I firmly believe the Panthers will for sure 3 peat
