  1. I saw that game and it was plain aweful. All 3s Franz took were contested. Shooting form looks weird to me. Also when he took a deep FIBA three there was the hitch again. I think he ist too much in his head still even though he stated this is his focus for the summer. He should only take open 3s at this point imho.

  2. Franz is already a star level player, 3 pointer would make him a superstar. Magic have a superstar and 3 star level players. I’m more concerned with AB showing development from a 9th or 10th man in terms of impact, to a 6th or 7th.

  3. I am wondering who id missing from the previous Germany squad that is making you say the team is weaker. The only player missing in my view is Moe Wagner who was a reserve in the last tournament. The starting 5 (Dennis Schröder, Andreas Obst, Franz Wagner, Daniel Theis, and Johannes Voigtmann) are the same as most of the reserves (Isaac Bonga, Maodo Lo, and Johannes Thiemann) minus Moe and adding TDS. Maxi Kleber and Isaiah Hartenstein have not played in the previous 3 major tournaments so who is making the team smaller in your opinion (besides Moe)?
