5. The Mariners currently hold a 3 game lead on the final WC spot ahead of KC and Cleveland…. each of whom they have to still face in a series on the remaining schedule. I think they are both on the road too. I know the Cleveland series is. I think the KC series is the first of a later road trip which will include the Houston series. Can you feel the collapse, Mariners fans? I can feel it, comin in the air tonight……….

15. Although this Mariner loss is sorta helpful for the Rangers, I'm still outraged by the fact that Jenny "Bart Simpson" Cavnar still has a job! Must she poison every game with her voice?! Rangersforever❤

16. The M's hit four solo home runs for four runs in A's series so far. What does that mean? It doesn't mean that they are home run hitting team. It means that their swings are big. I don't know why their swings are big after seeing Edgar and Ichiro in this city. Do they ever watch films? Do they only watch Gary Sheffield and not Tony Gwinn? Griffey didn't swing big. His natural strength made the balls out of the park. There's something fundamentaly wrong about the Seattle Mariners. And I watched only two instances that they tried to bunt but both JP Crawford and Victor Robles flied the balls. Is it really hard to bunt like Joey Cora? It's unbelievable what I have watched last two games. A hit in baseball means hit the ball into safe place. Not the out of the park. Unbelievable.

17. their were soo many great things about the Mariners today. The Seattle broadcasters were pouring greatness all over this game.
    Then the A's won the game … but the Mariners won the great factor

19. The Mariners have a habit of imploding at the wrong time which is why they've made the postseason just once since their 116-win season in 2001.

21. Once again it's like the entire M's roster completely forgot how to hit! Why is it the same BS with this team every single year!?

22. Mariners haven't played a bad BABIP luck game like this in a while. So many hard hit line outs early that prevented at least a couple runs. Need to win the series tomorrow.
