  3. My players to watch this year is walman, mangiapane and stuart Skinner all for different reasons.
    Walman made a huge impact right off the hop, stuart skinner because I want to see how the new goalie coach ends up impacting his play and see if it becomes more consistant and mangipane because he's new and it seems like no matter what team he plays for he make a huge difference for his team.

    On another note, I have a gut feeling that mcdavid isn't resigning with the oilers. I believe if he was going to resign, he would've done it by now.

  7. Could you imagine spending the next 3 years trying and failing to reach the cup final more than once only to reach another nail biting cup final game 7 in 2028?! Even if they eventually do win Connor would bail after the seasons end. Are we a 1 and done city after 13 years of Connor McDavid? Scary to think.

  9. No goalie no cup period. Skinner can’t get it done. They did everything except get a goalie and I know it’s hard to get a goalie but you have to on principle alone. Keep skinner as a back up but he ain’t the guy. If Edmonton had Bobrovski they would have two cups right now. It’s glaringly obvious what the problem is.

    He can't play defence and we know how Knobber treats guys who are capable of 30 goals but don't backcheck every frigging shift

  16. Good video, Austin! I am optimistic about what these guys can bring to the team next season. The 2 youngest players can make the difference, and it can be the right moment for the other 3 to step up.

    I like specially Podkolzin… Despite not being quite productive in the scoring category, I loved what he did fot the team. Whenever he was on ice, his presence was very positive… Great phtsicality and energy… I understand why Draitsaitl likes to play with him. He is at the very least an excellent sidekick for a superstar calliber player like Leon.

  17. I agree, Mangi is probably the best one of the group. He can play with elite players. He was really good in CGY before they lost everyone. He is a very good complementary player.
