2. I think we don't need any of the youth to excel (other than Dunn) and the team can still be not bad. But it would definitely still require Ott to prove he's a good offensive mind, and at least have Williams and Booker be able to play 62 games. I think if that happens AND then one of the rookies has an all rookie year, Gillespie/Goodwin become legit 6-7th men rather than 8th-9th, or even nigel Hayes Davis manages to transfer over his euroleague production, then we will be able to hit that 6-8th seed mark no problem. It would be way different if we were counting on Maluach to already start, didn't get Brooks in the trade, basically trot out last years team removing Durant and adding Green. Its currently a pretty deep team though, chemistry be almost non existent lol

I agree huge on the clippers statement, I’m tired of the khawai dick riding he hasn’t been heathy in literally 5 seasons like let’s stop over rating this guy 😂 the healthiest he’s been was the 7 game series last season and then they add Bradley Beal to that mix ? 6. i think mark williams needs his own show bc how does he not get a mention for most important sun or a top 5 reason they make the playoffs. he’s a big gamble, he HAS to play games and he HAS to be consistent, a dominant offensive and defensive rebounder, he has to be himself and play 55-60 games. which he’s never done! if maluach or richards are closing games for more then 25 games this season they aren’t making the playoffs, they aren’t going to have that offensive rebounding they keep raving about. maluach needs to have a good example in front of him and i think williams can be that. super underrated player he just hasn’t been able to stay on the court yet

8. 23:33 Devin Booker, before he got poisoned by wet noodle, was a 1st team all nba player. It is doubtful if he can get better than what he was back then, with a true point guard by his side. BUt he definitelly can get better than he was last couple of seasons, when wet noodles toxic aura just ruined his spirit. HE heas the opportunity to get back to 'be legendary' from '36 unbothered'. Can he do it? I hope so. If he does, he can be at the mvp convo table again, and SUns can be in playoffs. And Ott can be COTY candidate lol.

9. If Jalen, Book, Mark, and Dillon play at least 70 games, then we have a "chance" to reach the playoffs. Hopefully, there's no injury for us this season.

10. You can't say he's been patient to not go after the next big fish. He went after Kuminga with every remaining asset they had. If they had 2 firsts to add to that trade to get it done he probably would've. And it would've been an awful mistake.

11. If the Suns become a top 6 team, Booker will be a top 3 MVP candidate.

13. Ben Garcia! You are an excellent host! I had doubts when you took over. I didn’t find you to be a good co-host and I criticized you a couple times. It must’ve just been bad chemistry with Brandon because, I can’t believe I’m saying this, your solo show has been better than his. Keep it up Benny G I’m loving the show

14. Sad but true that the #10, first round pick doesn't figure into a Suns playoff run. Malu isn't a disaster yet but the improvement clock is ticking.

15. Ishbia can't be trusted. This back court will be no different than the last two Jones/Book, Beal/Book the results will be the same. In all fairness, Tyus is a back up pg who never really got a shot he was a spot shooter. The Suns need a starting caliber PG. JB would be a good backup, but the other 2 are third stringers at best.

    – find a solid starter level PG
    – Mark Williams needs to prove he can play more games, not injury prone
    – JG & Booker needs to prove they can co exist and complement each other
    – rookie coach can get players to buy in and trust him

17. Don't see both happening, Dunn making a leap and Fleming having a good rookie season. If Dunn balls out, Fleming ain't realistically getting minutes

18. I disagree Ben. Mark Williams is wayyy more important than Maluach in the '25-26 season. Tho he might be most important in '26 or 27

19. The unfortunate truth is playoffs or not the Suns don’t have the personnel or assets to be a contender for a long time. The only way we’re going to get the assets to speed up this rebuild is unfortunately to trade Devin Booker. That’s how far back Ishbia has set us with his reckless decisions. Otherwise, see y’all in 2032 when this team actually has control of first round picks again 😂

    It’s going to take a lot longer than 1-2 years for Matt Ishbia to regain the trust of this fanbase. And for good and legitimate reasons.
