Libby day! And no Mikolas. I’ll take it.
We win the series today!
I think I’ve seen enough of Saggese and Walker.
LETS FUCKING GO BIRDS
They’ve been playing the Rays for what seems like FOREVER. Move on, tampon!
Here at the game. Rain had passed, they’re cleaning up some puddles on the warning track. Meteorologist Moe Berg here, stay tuned for more weather updates.
Helsley has an ERA of 9.82 after nine games with the Mets.
Look, im not convinced you need to call up JJ. But Winn knee is clearly a problem, so why not.
On this week’s episode of Cardinals Insider there is a piece called Ballpark Buffet. Chip and Sweeney sample food while they were broadcasting from Coors Field. Chip gets Mark to sample and rate Rocky Mountain oysters (cow testicles). Mark didn’t know what they were but gave them a 0 out of 5. I laughed at his reaction and response when Chip informed him he ate cow balls! 😂 😂 😝
If any are inclined, I’d recommend watching Alan Reyes’s Palm Beach debut last night. He recorded all 7 outs by strikeout. He’s throwing a high-spin changeup with 22 inches of arm-side run that would be called a screwball in a past era.
The kid’s nasty. He’s definitely a bullpen arm worth watching over the next few years.
I respect that Erick Fedde bucked the trend of Cardinals succeeding in other places. As bad as he was here, he was somehow significantly worse with the Braves
I’m not in the stadium yet. Looks like some dark rain clouds are coming in from the Gulf. Expect a few delays. They delays should be relatively short. But it could rain anytime between now and late afternoon.
Florida of all places should have a roof on all sports stadiums lol
Meteorologist Moe Berg here on site at Steinbrenner field. Hearing murmurs of a lingering delay until after everything passes around 4pm and a 5ish pm start time.
you need another bob gibson
