Needing help right now is not what you get when your a seller at the deadline, I know most Cardinals fans aren't familiar with a deadline where we don't pick up something but it's been a while since the Cards were in a position where they knew by the deadline they weren't going to be competitive, good problem to have. I'm OK with no help right now, guess we'll see if what they got is worth it. Gotta remember too that none of these guys had an extra year or something on their contract so not going to get a huge amount of return for players with only 2 months left to play. I would have expected quite a bit more if Jojo had gone or something.

9. I'm glad that this was the result. We got reinforcements for players that would not return. And since we can't dump Arenado, Contreras, Gray, and Mikolas, this is the best consolation.

10. I give them a grade B for the trades they made because they got more for helsley than i thought but a grade of DDDD for not doing more they had an opportunity to cash in on players that had good value since it will be 28 before complete
