  1. Still happy we won the series. Little painful when it’s such a winnable game. But, Astros offense turned it around this series. Gotta whip up on the Rockies and Angels.

  2. Wonder if Chas is going to justify a roster spot by saying he is a reliever now.

3/4 is great. Today was winnable but glad Spencer and Kimbrel looked good. Rest day tomorrow and then Yordan Tuesday. Very happy.

  3. Sweeps are hard. Bullpen got a much needed break. RISP killed the game again.
Oh well series W and hopefully yordan return on Tuesday

  4. Off Day coming at a great time.
Gives the bullpen a rest and Diaz’s wrist time to heal.

  5. Won 3/4, went up against one of the best starters in baseball today and just got beat. It happens

  6. Ump wanted to go home.

Rodgers pitched a good game, it happens. Once he left, offense showed life, just not enough life unfortunately.

I’ll easily take a 3/4 series against a team that dogwalked us a little over a week ago.

  7. At least Spaghetti stayed pretty al dente today.

(The irony is that if the ump correctly called ball 4 instead of strike 2 we might be heading into extras now)

  8. Had plenty of chances today. Oh well, won the series 3-1! Offense looking good, Spaghetti had a solid outing. Let’s sweep the Rockies and hope the A’s beat the Mariners today.

    YORDON COMING BACK NEXT SERIES!

  9. Silver lining is that they have the day off tomorrow, and we didn’t need to use another pitcher in the 9th

  10. Need Yordan and Jake back. Cam, Melton, and Chas should not be getting meaningful playing time.

  11. Arrighetti looked good after settling in, Kimbrel looked decent, Yordan returns tomorrow. Nuff’ said

  12. We fought to the end. Bullpen was depleted but our pitching did as well as we can hope for with a guy coming off IL and 2 relievers who are about 20th in the pecking order. Batters were clearly a bit off today but we still got hits and runs.

Some tough choices going to need to be made now.

Alvarez obviously comes back and Leon is hitting well and is fresh. Smith and Melton going down would be the logical choice. Cam just needs a few days off with no baseball.

Meyers looks like early September and that may be the end of Chas.

Spencer pitched well, but he, Javier and LMJ are still shaky. I don’t like our rotation being our three best pitchers and then our three worst. Maybe we give Ullola a spot start in the Rockies series to try and split up the rotation.

  13. Can’t leave that many guys on base. Clutch hitting has been our issue all season, mainly because the bottom of our order is a black hole due to injuries. Cam needs time off. He looks lost out there and I think the MLB schedule is getting to him. Give him a few weeks to rest. Going to sound like a broken record, but Yordan and Jake coming back can’t happen soon enough.

  14. Would rather see Espada lace them up than McCormick in that situation. Only person I would less like to see is Melton.

  15. Have to sweep the Rockies especially with yordan coming back, they just got swept by pirates scoring one run in 3 games

  16. The loss was on the hitters. Poor Spaguetti did great but had no help to at least avoid the L. Bad luck for him.

    Kimbrel looked decent. Good news.

I’m tired of Altuve’s recent approach to batting. He can be way more patient.

  17. Very annoying to throw away a perfectly winnable game, especially with all the chances we had. Ugh.

  18. Whatever.

Arrigheti looking good is huge for us.

Yordan back TUE will be absolutely huge for us.

  19. Man, the Mariners are such an absurdly better team at home. Almost suspiciously so… (Kidding)

Probably back to 2 game lead after today, which is fine. Just get Yordan back, and Jake soon as well, and we vibe.

  20. This is a good loss. Spencer was good, Roony did fine. Kimbrel got some reps. And the best parts of the BP got some much needed rest.

Yordan will come and we still have a 2 game lead if Seattle wins.

    We need to continue winning.

  21. Pretty good pitching performance. We had the chances but doesn’t always happen. 3/4 is great and we get Yordan back.

Now we have to sweep the Rockies because the Angels are after them and all AL West teams are annoying when they play us.
