Damn, low hopes and still come away disappointed
At least we’ll always have that season sweep against the Dodgers.
eh, we season sweeped the dodgers, who cares anymore
LAA is 14-19 since the trading deadline.
I don’t know what’s more embarrassing:
knowing that this was going to happen with LAA once they decided not to sell
Or
Having fans SUPPORT them not selling when they absolutely needed too!
The “Meaningful games” was probably just a term for “Arte just wants to make sure the team is good enough to be LAD..” cause it makes no damn sense why they didn’t sell!
#SELLTHETEAM
Alright boys, this is where I get off the ride. See yall next year
I’m happy ward is doing so well going into his final Arb year. I do wish we got some awesome prospects for him, because I don’t think Arte is gonna pay him and who knows what’s going to happen next year. Still, it’s nice to have some consistent bats. We showed some fight out there but, this is what our team is right now
Pathetic
Skyline be like “no worries bros we’ll make playoffs in 2035”
Every series is a constant reminder of how bad Perry is at team building.
Logan O’Hoppe is falling off a cliff while the very young and exploding C prospect we already had on the team that Perry deemed expendable and traded is now outperforming him (1.6 WAR vs 0.4 WAR). Hell the player we traded, even with an injury ridden season, is still out performing him too (0.6 war)
Nolan schanuel was selected before Matt Shaw in 2023. Matt Shaw was called up just this year and has the same career WAR than Nolan does after 3 seasons.
Silseth has been the only guy to touch our roster from Perry’s masterful 2021 all pitchers draft. He pitched 1 struggling inning today.
Outside of Neto out 2 bright spots on offense? Adell and ward were drafted by other GMs. Perry’s 2nd pitching signing to be our 4th starter? 4 runs in 4 innings
Another rushed prospect in CMO? Not an everyday player and is struggling.
Our farm system system drafted for and is overseeing? 27th ranked (btw our rival team in the mariners who are truly fighting for contention every year and lead by a GM that people say sucks compared to Perry? 3rd ranked farm even after buying at the deadline)
Please someone tell me why this sub still cheers on this dude? Why is there zero #fireperry posts and countless #selltheteam posts? A new GM can be possible if the fanbase shows distaste. A new owner isn’t until he decides he’s done
I had low expectations and yet I’m still disappointed by this team
I can report from the farm that the Bees blew a 5 run lead after a Kingery grand slam in the 3rd inning. Reno put up 8 runs through 5 innings that went unanswered until the Bees got a sac fly in the 9th. 10-8 final score
Sell. The. Team.
The Angels now have the 4th worst run differential in baseball. The only teams worse are the Rockies, Nationals, and A’s (barely).
The Rockies, Nats and A’s all traded away players for prospects at the deadline. The Angels refused to. That’s how you get to what is the 11th consecutive losing season.
Welp, at least the Mariners save us to beat A’s today
Every single year our pitching/blowpen sucks
