18. They’re keeping Brosmer for sure! Can’t go into the season with 2 QB’s with no NFL experience so Wentz will fill that void.

19. I think Wentz signing makes it more likely they keep Brosmer. You have a number two you trust now.

20. Wentz is a really good QB! The only drawback is he's made of paper mache. So, Brosmer is basically QB2, even if he's QB3! 😉

28. Good move. Carson may not be liked by players and coaches but he is a superbowl champion with experience. In the running for mvp the year he got hurt. JJ goes down he can handle it. 😊

    Trey is younger than Bo Nix and Tyler Shough this year. He was drafted at 20 years old. To say he's a bust is to say 100% of all rookies are a bust during their rookie seasons.

    And Wentz was straight up better than Tom Brady before he tore his ACL in 2017. Wentz was on pace for the 2nd best sophomore season by any QB in NFL history behind only Dan Marino.

    Then in 2018 Wentz was on pace for 32 TDs again before another injury

    Then in 2019 he took a literal practice squad to the playoffs while breaking an NFL record for most passing yards in a season while zero of his WRs even had at least 500 yards receiving. And instead of rewarding Wentz by getting him some damn help, Howie drafyed Hurts.

    Then in 2020 Wentz did what he had to do to get the hell out of Philly.

    In 2021 Wentz was top 10 in passing yards, passing TDs and QBR before Jim Irsay got rid of his top 10 QB became Wentz refused to get a bioweapon injected into his arm.

    Then in 2022 Wentz was top 5 in the league in both passing yards and passing TDs thru the 1st 5 ganes before he broke his finger in week 6

    Then Wentz went to the Rams where he beat the 49ers whike the 49ers started like 90% of their starting defense and Wentz had 2nd and 3rd stringers around him most of the game. But instead of resigning Wentz, the Rams decided to sign a more expensive Jimmy G. Made no sense

    Then Wentz went to the Chiefs where he became a part of the greatest QB in NFL history as Mahomes is perhaps the best QB in NFL history and Wentz was the top rated backup in NFL history.

    Now Wentz (still a top 15 QB easily) is on Minnesota where he should start but won't due to politics and fans being too easily brainwashed

35. This guy still can't get over his Eagles hate that he can't even rationally see how good Carson has actually been when in even semi-competent situations. Arguably still should have been NFL MVP in 2017, rehabbed like Adrian Peterson to get back on the field…offense looked awful in the first two games with Foles and Wentz stepped in to steady the offense. Was 6-5, but easily should have been 8-3 with any defensive help or special teams help. Shut down by Howie for a non-existent back injury after being really good off injury. Was borderline special in 2019 and dragged an awful roster to a division title. Howie punted on 2020 and blamed both Doug and Carson…Doug blamed Carson…he had to go.

    Was actually really good in Indy behind the 3rd worst pass blocking line in the NFL and only having one decent receiving option, the LT and TE he had to deal with both retired after that season because they were both beyond cooked. And he still had a top 10 QBR. But the NFL is fickle and GMs are scared to take on perceived busts. He was put in unwinnable situations in Philly, Indy, and then Washington and because of some sketchy Philly Inquirer reporting he became an easy scapegoat for any GM trying to save their job.

    Go look at all the QBs Indy has tried since Irsay's temper tantrum??? Not one of them has been close to as good as Wentz and their recent Top 5 pick just lost the starting job to Daniel Jones…

37. Wentz can look good or great at times, but the way he choked for both Indy and Washington with the playoffs on the line was something.
