RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays OVERPOWER the St. Louis Cardinals for a series win

The Tampa Bay Rays beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-2. After over a 4 hour rain delay both teams were held scoreless for the first 3 innings. Christopher Morel would get the Rays on the board with a solo home run in the 4th inning to make it 1-0. After the Rays got the bases loaded in the 5th inning, Junior Caminero came to the plate and belted his 2nd grand slam of the season to make it 5-0. In the 6th inning Chandler Simpson would hit a 2 run triple to give the Rays all the runs they would need. Ryan Pepiot started for the Rays and was very efficient. he went 5 innings only throwing 64 pitchers striking out 3 and only allowing 1 hit. The Rays pick up the series win and will head on the road. Their first stop is in Cleveland to face the Guardians tomorrow night.
