Kawhi: When I shoot the ball and I know it’s going in, I say, ‘Wet Ball”

  1. I used the same term in little league when I threw the ball to first and knew it was sailing 10 feet over that poor kid’s head. “Wet ball!”

  2. “How I say, wet ball.” He may have meant to say that, but sometimes when someone speaks to someone else who isn’t a native English speaker, they end up talking in broken English themselves like they forgot how to speak it too, and that’s always funny.

  3. When it’s the 20th time in the past 3 years you’ve written some variation of “the most I’ve ever heard him talk before” or “this man is the most unintentionally funny man in basketball” or “never seen him smile before”, you may want to reconsider how you think of Kawhi.

  4. What I do my friends 🤖

    Is when the ball is going in 🤖

    I say “WET BALL!” 🤖

  5. this 15 second sideline interview in asia has shown me more about Kawhi’s personality then the last 15 years in the NBA

  6. I remember the “that’s wet” days. Common saying when you feel your shot is going in. I used to say that all the time. This feels like an evolution or spinoff of that since kawhi around my age.

    Random note: Yall remember “that’s tight”? I’m bringing that shit back I miss it.

  7. “Wet” and “thats wet” was a big thing back in mid 2000s. Glad Kawhi is keeping it alive.

  8. It’s wild to me that he and Zion are both always hurt , but Leonard is NEVER out of shape. True pro

  9. cognitive_input = input()
    if cognitive_input == “The ball is going in”:
        vocal(“Wet ball”)
