  1. Having Maxey McCain and VJ is not bad at all some teams would be jealous to have this young talent (rockets fan) plus with the assets they can get with Embiid because PG's value is worse than a poisoned food

  3. I’ll tell you this Matt. This organization better not fail Maxey like they did Embiid. He’s too much of a gem. I could see in 2-3 years if this team is not winning, he and his agent Rich Paul want out of Philadelphia. I think a lot of people agree with this but Maxey is the heart of this team and is only getting better and if he leaves the team is crushed. Honestly though, I could see this happening. I don’t know how this team can build a winning team around him when 70% of their cap space is going to old and injury-proned Embiid and George. As a Sixers fan, I would be devastated if he was out of Philly.

  5. The 76ers need to look into trying to trade Paul george. And with Embid they need to push him to start taking this seriously and get healthy and in shape. If not they should look into moving him. I think if they can somehow pull off a 3-team trade where Embid goes to the Knicks, Towns goes to the Suns and the 76ers get Nick Richards, Grayson Allen, and a pick.
    Paul George should be traded to the Heat for Wiggins.
    Then the 76ers' lineup should be 1. Maxy, 2. McCain, 3. Vj Edgecom, 4. Wiggins and 5. Nick Richards.

  9. Its hilarious that atandings predictions still put the sixers as contenders if embiid and paul geiege arent injured, when its already confirned that embiids knees are irrecoverable and paul george already had a major surgery. MN

  10. The thing I find the most amazing about Philly is how they utterly and completely botched almost every single pick from the Process. All the misery and tanking will end up being for absolutely nothing.

Tbh I know Philly is counted out but to me they are a dark horse for the east this year the injury’s don’t look good but embiid regardless is a top player in the league and if the team can get behind him and not rush him or himself into coming back early they have a shot not only that but they young guys look promising and if Paul George gives us even a tiny better season they have a chance with the east being so open. It’s really just how he is managed but I believe they have a real chance

  15. I feel like a rebuilding team can take a chance on Embiid, allow him to rehab, heal and cut weight while they develop. Best case scenario, you have a Lonzo style comeback and an MVP calibre player on a young team, or he medically retires and you lose nothing

  16. i think him playing on USA wasn’t “unnecessary”. Winning a gold is such a high achievement and also arguably harder than an nba championship since ur window to be a part of it is so little.

  17. Most likely a stretch and waive for George is a given at this point, unless a bad team wants to take on the salary to tank. Take that 25M and get a decent player and then either DPE, medically retire or stretch and waive Embiid. Sounds drastic, but no team will take him. That would free up 50-60M to get some decent players to pair with the young talent. Probably won't contend in the next 3-4 yrs, but they could be a decent playoff team 🤷‍♂
