  3. If anybody deserves statue status then it’s George after everything he’s been through in the past few years to get to where he is today, it’s thoroughly deserving. I like the Patience Required picks for Varland, Bieber and Seranthony because I think they’ll come good!

  8. I think the reason that the "way better than expected" tier was so busy is becuase that's just the blue jays as a whole. Nobody expected these guys to play like they are.

  9. People like to downplay what Nathan Lukes has done but to provide 2 WAR at essentially league minimum salary is super valuable. I think more valuable than someone signed to $10 million a year and putting up 3 WAR.

  10. Speaking of statues wasn't there supposed the be a Bautista bat flip statue outside the skydome? I know there is a big mural downtown but that moment deserves to be immortalized in stone!

  12. I would put Varsho in statue status tier. He’s on pace of 55HRs and his top defensive capability has been always there. Coming back from multiple injuries and still performing every time. He is Statue status

  13. Man they really messed with Vlad. I'm telling you, he was ready to play to start the Miami series but they wouldn't let him play 1st and wouldn't take Springer out of the DH spot. Imagine not giving your half a billion dollar a bat you pay him for. Vlad pulled himself from that game just as PRECAUTIONARY measure and then a week later the jays and media were still saying he was sitting out as precautionary. BS. Vlad wanted to play and they wouldn't even let him hit because they preferred keeping Springer in the lineup and away from playing the OF. VLad was on a roll too, I do not like the time off he had, messed with his timing so who knows what you're gonna get now. He never misses that much time even though it was only a week.

  14. Solid tier list. I would move Bassit to average only because I dont think hes been as good as Gausman or Berrios and if you look around the MLB hes kind of in the middle of the pack.
