  1. Wet fart of a game. Way too many runs given up by Pallante, way too few Hi-Chews getting thrown.

  2. Next year is our year and I ran the numbers and here’s why. – Lars Nootbaar remains healthy and doesn’t have a 2 month slump. – Ivan Herrera remains healthy (achieved by juicing). – Jordan walker and Nolan Gorman figure it out (Jordan bats .300 with an ops of 850 and gorm smashes 47 gorm bombs). Masyn Winn does masyn winn things (prince). Brendan Donovan stays on the team and signs a 6 yr $12 million extension (that’s $2m aav {nice work Chaim}). Matthew Liberatore and Sonny Gray both run several marathons this offseason to get into good shape (each throw 190 innings sub 3 era). Alec Burleson and Victor Scott II trade body parts (Alec gains some speed while Vic becomes a good hitter). Pedro Pages and Yohel Pozo fuse (using gamma rays, we combine them into one good catcher). And finally, Nolan Arenado wins MVP (900 ops, gold glover, bangin ladies left and right). If all these things go according to plan, we may have a shot at a wild card spot. Maybe.

  3. I know we aren’t realistically fighting for the playoffs but there’s nothing good coming out of putting Pallante out there anymore. It’s just totally deflating to the team automatically being down 5+ in the first inning and he’s not a rookie who needs big league reps. The young guys will benefit/develop more from being in meaningful situations during games than essentially being in garbage time 2/5 games a week when Mikolas and Pallante pitch

  4. While I’m not happy about the losing, I’m happy that circumstances have allowed guys to get more opportunities to show what they’ve got. I mean that was the entire point of this season…

  5. Aw I see it’s the type of night where I had a few drinks and have to defend Yadier Molina against the people in r/baseball again
