This is crummy turn of events tonight
I’m not saying we’ve been great today, but I do think there’s been a little luck go SFs way (bloops etc) and little that hasn’t gone our way.
Ugh we cant get a streak going
Happ is just worthless!!! So glad Cassie isn’t getting any reps though
Ian Crapp
These guys just can’t go on a real win streak. Not a bad season by any means but since May this team seems to have lost this killer instinct that separates the great teams from just the good teams
West coast games become more brutal when they’re like tonight’s
Happ will play every day and you’ll fucking like it. – Craig Counsell
Verlander has like 1 win in his last 24 starts or something crazy like that. Shut down our elite 2nd half offense for 2 runs.
At least this game will force Giants fans to remember a certain other time they brought a 5-2 lead into the ninth inning against the Cubs……..
Back to the get down and then give up offense
When I think of comparable playoff teams of years past to this team, I think this team is a version of the 2007 / 08 cubs. Good regular seasons but will be an easy sweep for someone. A 1-2 year window team that’s not built very well for years beyond the immediate present
We got this. Source: trust me
“Ah yes, I love being a Cubs fan and shitting on all of our favorite players bc they are struggling right now!” – Most of the People in this thread
I love this guys delivery
No homers = no offense
Oh fuck this. Castro?!
Feels like the Cubs always play like ass in SF. Have zero evidence to back that up and I’m probably wrong.
Wut
Cassie does exist. He’s on deck!!! Counsell remembered he was on the team after his bench coach had to remind him
I just don’t get removing Shaw, even if you get the “lefty advantage”
Absolutely stupid move
Shaw > Castro
Yeah sorry being that shit against 1-10 42 year old is pathetic.
Matt Shaw would have had a better chance
He’ll homer just to make the pinch hit for Shaw look extra dumb
Verlander wins a game in SF! TY Binny’s!
if this game does go to extras who plays 1b?
Who is this new guy?
Offense looks great 👍
Fuck
Look Ian happ is an mlb lackey, works for the mlb union. Tom ricketts loves him because he has pull. Guy Fkn sucks 90% of the time on the field. Jed and tom keep him close
