Detroit Tigers fell to the Athletics 7-6 in 10 innings in Sacramento. Riley Greene hit a towering grand slam that registered over 470 feet, but it wasn’t enough as Detroit Tigers defense repeatedly let them down in this one. Detroit Tigers have made 9 errors in their last six games. Zach McKinstry hit a clutch RBI single in the 10th to put the Detroit Tigers ahead, but the Athletics came back with two runs in the home half of the 10th to earn the win. Detroit Tigers will look to salvage the finale tomorrow night.

It’s over. This team is a joke. 2-12 w risp. Had many opportunities to win and they are done . KC will maybe catch us. I have had enough of not scoring w runners in scoring position all runs via the Homerun ball! You tell me any championship team who won without doing the obvious single or even a double with runners on. It’s not once in awhile but numberous times in all these games it’s predictable that we lose we never were going to win this game just like yesterday
