I think they’re going to try to trade Thompson for a late pick, they can hold onto him with Howard out and then will trade him once Howard is back. They need more safety depth but I figure that’s the primary thing that gets added once Thompson is moved.
The “they’re going to keep only 5 WRs because they’ll run with 4 TEs” theory ended up right. I don’t see any reason why Heyward is on the team when you already have Washington that can do everything Heyward does but better. But whatever, whether you have a FB or a WR4 doesn’t really matter.
Lots of IDL guys. But Loudermilk? Is he that important for special teams?

Pouring one out for DeMarvin Leal. Thought he would be a steal as a first team All-SEC guy in the 3rd round. Just doesn’t seem like he ever figured out a place in our scheme. Still feel like he could potentially be a good rotation piece in the right system.
Put Kent on season IR like Lee last year. Howard IR return. Then bring back Clark/Pierre

Here is what I love:

– that they kept Kent over beanie. Beanie will catch on somewhere
– keeping Connor heyward over a 6th receiver
– keeping Peat. Great vet, versatile backup lineman to have. I was seeing on espn and major outlets that he’d be cut and I thought that would be dumb as hell. What would the point of bringing him in be then?
