6. Giddey didn't have 50 bad games – was this guy watching? Only a couple of bad games – mainly solid to great and building over season. Season average 14.5, 8 and 7 are solid numbers. Averaged a triple double 10% of games over the season.

7. AKME built a team around Zach LaVine's talents as a scorer although Zach was rarely effective crashing the boards, or oteam defense. They surrounded Zach with premium defenders, a low post scorer and another primary scorer to take the scoring load off of Zach LaVine. AKME gave Zach a max contract deal and Bulls nation rejoiced at the re-signing of Zach LaVine.
   Well, that didn't turn out well at all.
   FFW to the present and Josh Giddey contract. Why not pay Giddey his money while AKME has built a roster around point guard Josh Giddey? As much as I'm a Tre Jones fan, Josh Giddey is irreplaceable at point guard. Even if Giddey doesn't get any better than the last 20 games or so last season, he can't get much worse. We won't see the same Giddey from the 1st 50 games because he has a solid team around him ready to take the next step in the East.

15. BD was tanking his value in the first half of the season. Sat him in the corner. Your 'analysis' is so shallow. He's worth an extra 5M a year for how he is going to help develop Matas. He was also dealing with the off court stuff in 23/24 getting booed every game and he finally started getting his confidence back at the end. And this year it's getting the reigns handed to him. 21. Im not on the Giddy committee, but not acknowledging how young he is when it was the second part of the season is kinda silly

22. I have only just started watching this vid but his games need to be judged on whether he has the ball in his hands or not! When he is the PG and has control of the game, he’s very consistent. When he’s playing other positions like at OKC (except when SGA was injured) and first 1/2 of bulls year, he finds it hard. He’s a floor general.

Re the stats peck, JG last year in OKC the off court issue effected him you guys missed that fact in your presso today, he relaxed a bit towards the end of that year hence the up kick and then went to the bulls first few games he got booed then it stopped, I agree with old mate that once Lavine left JG had control and showcased his stuff, going forward JG will have great year 18/9/9 with 13 triple doubles, his best is coming now thanks hess part of the giddey sub~committee

24. Omg…. This guy again??? He didn’t play 30 good games for the bulls, on the season he finished the 7th ranked player for his position on the season on John Hollingers PER ratings. He also is 22 and 6-9, and point guards at that size with that passing, playmaking, rebounding and leadership don’t exist in the NBA. He is likely an all star this season and not locking him up long term will create way more cap space off the table and trade assets off the table. At 22 he is very early on his development stage of his career and an all star berth and all nba this season or next is the base case. And please stop with this P Williams comparison, P Will was always trash and outside of one off season when Giddey was out of position and dealing with off court issues in OKC, Giddey is a budding star. Like I said, 6-9 point guard basically don’t exist in the NBA and much less players that are some of the best conductors in the NBA.

25. The reality is he has consistently improved aspects of his game every season. You don't go from 27% to 35% from 3 in 4 seasons on increasing volume without putting in work. I don't believe for 1 minute he will shoot 45% from 3 but 35-37% on good volume? I believe that is sustainable. Doubling his FTA's to 3-4 is sustainable. Will he ever be an all-defensive team defender? Unlikely but he's a far better defender than he was at the start of the career. The eye test and stats show he's gone from terrible to below average/average in 4 seasons. Solid help defender, flawed man to man defender. Development is not linear obviously, but at 22/23 y/o and his history shows he puts in the work every offseason and improves an aspect of his game, I really don't understand why so negative.

26. Going back to Okc with the rise of Jdub and Shai Giddey was put more into a Pf role and left in the corner with jaylin and shai taking over ball handling which you can say Josh hasn't been used to and took awhile to get used to his new role

27. I've noted elsewhere, this channel knows hating on Giddey gets them more clicks. That is the one trick pony Pecks only way to get any views. I admire it, it works for him and the channel. His algorithm tells him all his other takes get no traction, but his irrational Giddey takes make him relevant.

29. ive followed Giddey since before he was drafted in the NBA – if you watch his first season in OKC and his 2nd season – he was a floor general, complete control of OKC which some sharing of the ball with SGA – ONCE JDUB joined OKC and they put SGA / JDUB as your 1/2 it pushed giddey to the off ball / wing . He doesnt know that role and cant play that role and therefore didnt fit into OKC anymore . When he joined the bulls zach lavine was the core man in charge and soon as he got traded it meant giddey was point and coby was the shooting guard . As you can see he scored over 20+ 11+ rebounds and 9.5 assists for the rest of the season consistently . Its pretty obvious.. you either play him at the point or you dont play him. Its that simple, let him play his game and he will cook and involve all his team mates.
