Justin Verlander only won 2 titles for all his years in the league, doesnt mean he isnt going to be a instant hall of famer when he calls it quits.

Every other hitter that showed potential in the upper minors has struggled and never recovered in Pittsburgh. The next hitter to establish themselves in the majors as an average player (2 war) will be the first developed under this management team. They screwed the golden goose.
