  1. He’s been roughed up a bit lately. This feels a little like needed rest. Also, I’d be 100% fine with Uribe as the closer if we needed to.

  2. This makes sense to how he was pitching hopefully it’s just a grade 1 strain and he’s out the Minimum days. I trust Uribe in the closers role and I think Miller earned the setup spot yesterday. Mears and Koenig stay the same. If they are going to use Miz out the bullpen for the playoffs this could be a stretch to see how he does. Recall Patrick on September 1st to slot in the rotation. Then Gasser for McGee when he’s ready. Then Fedde has a mop up role till Anderson Hall or Megill gets back

  3. Dude needs a break. I think a lot of the IL stints have been more workload related than actual injuries as of late. Hate seeing Logan go to the 60 day tho….. Also pitching lab about to go BURRR with Fedde.

  4. Signing Erick Fedde is nice. Not sure if we can help him improve his stuff, but there is a bit of time before the post season

  5. Disappointed Logan’s season is effectively done. Would prefer Logan over Fedde, but you hope Fedde can channel in 2024 vibes

  6. Bro serious wtf?!!? Why do the baseball gods like to fuck us as post season draws close

  7. well everyone who’s been hating on him and asking him not to be closer, you’re getting your wish

  8. It began in the game vs the giants. 4-3 9th inning 2 outs and his flexor sensed I had brewers ML

  9. From [this CBS article:](https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/trevor-megill-injury-brewers-closer-lands-on-il-with-flexor-strain-with-barely-a-month-left-of-regular-season/) “According to Baseball Prospectus’ database, the average absence because of a flexor strain is nearly 70 days. The median timetable is 49 days. Major League Baseball’s regular season is just over four weeks away from concluding, meaning that Megill will need to make a quicker-than-normal recovery if he’s going to return before the playoffs get underway.” 😬😬😬😬😬

  10. Two week rest and recover before the playoffs. Sucks that Logan needed to be shutdown before the season closed.

  11. idk why people are pretending every injury we get is just resting a player after fans were calling for their heads. this is a pretty serious injury and the hope is that he’s even ready for the playoffs

  12. This franchise is fucking cursed, man. Not meant as a doom btw just like, what the fuck

  13. Koenig’s been looking a little tired out as well. I can’t imagine the stress on the body and mind from these long seasons, along with the consecutive games played. I can’t see how any body can handle this. IL for rest before the playoffs is what we should want for all guys, pitchers or position playeres. Only thing to deal with is timing for them all.

  14. Every fucking season before the playoffs we have a catastrophic injury. EVERY FUCKING YEAR. Its infuriating. Flexor strain in his right arm is bad news no matter how much they try and downplay it. He won’t be back this season. What a fucking nightmare
