Inside look at Tampa Bay Lightning | Maintain belief in core, must find way past rival Panthers

  1. We need to find a way past our division in general. Based on our record last season, we would’ve been up against it no matter who we played in the first round.

  2. Now that Blashill and Perbix are gone, it is going to be all Lilleberg’s fault whenever we lose. That’s a lot of responsibility for such a young player to shoulder.

  3. Absolutely they were the reason we come out flat, take the second period off, stop skating the last 3 mins of each period, no being physical, why we pass so much and why our PP sucked. I’m so glad they’re gone.

  4. Personally I think our last shot was that 3rd Stanley cup. I think at this point it’s just maintaining not gaining. I’ll still watch and go to games because I support this organization and the players. But I’ve come to terms with the inevitable. Hopefully I’m wrong. Honestly I think the Bucs are closer to a title.

  5. Just need to be more physical and aggressive instead of relying on speed and skill to get it done. That’s the element the ‘20 and ‘21 squads had to get us over the top. Part of what made the late 2010’s teams so good. The passive style we’ve been playing is why the Leafs never get far in the playoffs.
