  1. Couldn’t hit the worst pitching combo I’ve seen all year. Very frustrating. No more Seigler PLEASE

  2. I feel like Yeli either destroys it or hits like he has a wiffle bat, and nothing in between. 🙁

  3. Guys I’m frustrated too, but there are some genuinely insane takes in the GDT. No other team in baseball this season has had to endure a 19 game stretch in 18 games. We are injured. We are exhausted. It’s not time to hit the panic button yet.

    Weather the storm.

  4. Felt like all but one of the losses this homestand were winnable. Suppose that’s the mark of a good team but it just sucks not to be able to pull one more of those out. Just couldn’t find the big hit.

  5. If we won Sunday the split wouldn’t hurt, but it does especially after taking the first two games. Very winnable games too easily could’ve been a sweep but we could not get a clutch hit. Desperately need Chourio and Hoskins back. Actually looking forward to play a good team to reignite the fire.

  6. Just threw on my Junk Jersey because thats my thoughts on the Brewers performance the past couple of days

ugh…nothing nice to say but bring back Hoskins and Chourio, DFA Seigler, option Mona(as soon as ortiz is ready) and Perkins

  7. A split series is better than a lost series, but I’m still bugged that we couldn’t take 3 of 4 from Arizona.

  8. 1-12 RiSP. Just can’t have that. You know, pitching is the hardest to maintain IMO. We know these guys can clutch hit. I think it returns with Churrio, Hopkins, and Ortiz. They’ve got a cushion, but it would be nice to keep it.

  9. If I’m not mistaken we’re sitting at 500 during this marathon of a stretch. September schedule looks normal enough in terms of recovery time going into October. This is still very much going the Brewers way heading into the playoffs. On to the next series. Even as a Brewjays believer I hope we deliver nothing but terror in Toronto this weekend.

  10. Well that was disappointing but I am really excited for Chourio to return tomorrow!

  11. Well, the Cubs lost, so we now have a 6.5 game lead into what will be the one weekend where we could reasonably expect that lead to shrink.

    Also, MICAH PARSONS!!!!!

  12. The giants just did us a HUGE favor this week. Losing NO ground and actually gaining ground this Arizona series.

Still 6.5 up before this tough stretch while cubs get Colorado. Getting one more would’ve been perfect but that was huge. And Micah parsons!!!

  13. Look, today sucked but:
Still best record in baseball by 5+ games
Make or break that will be this Toronto series and the few games with th Phillies. Split Phillies and take 2 of 3 in Toronto sitting good.

Our pitching is shot. Having this kind of schedual so late in the season is not the best idea… don’t worry got the same shit next season.

  14. Arizona got lucky in the end. Uribe/Mears rested. Perhaps a surprise batter on the way to Toronto.

  15. This has been a tough stretch and missing a lot of regulars. I think we are smart to give some of the starters rest while we can right now.

  16. The only good news is, only 4 more days of this juggling act the Brewers have had to do to try and survive 19 games in 18 days. It’s been rougher than we hoped it would be but maybe just knowing there’s only 4 more days of it left will let the team survive on adrenaline until this stretch is finally over.

Going to be tough to win 3 of the next 4 considering the step up in competition but this team seems to have played their best when up against the best (except for the Yankees in week 1). Let’s hope there’s enough in the tank to get 3 or 4 wins before the rest day that is greatly needed.

  17. Don’t care we split a series against Arizona in the middle of a grueling stretch with no off days. Micah Parsons!

  18. Gave up too many walks and couldn’t deliver with runners in scoring position. Other than that, not too bad of a performance. A day off will go a long way.

Which fan base is more worried about next week: the Brewers or the Phillies?
