  1. I vote for pocket tacos being the worst possible pocket food. In reality, the sentiment that Jeff brought up about the Brewers being annoying or pesky, is 100% how they are succeeding. They keep scrapping. They don't fold up down a few runs, and most importantly, they keep doing the "small things" they are so good at. The dont all go up to the plate trying to win the game with 7 home runs, but chipping away and holding with good defence. The truest form of "death by 1000 papercuts." We are the 1000 paper cuts of the MLB! GO CREW!

  2. I truly believe after sweeping the Dodgers (twice), this team is literally undaunted. They are aware they can literally beat (the shit out of) the "best". Their subconscious is confident if that makes sense? A team with that level of confidence is dangerous. No one wants to see the average Joe's right now. .

  3. I love this team. I can't help but think about Herb Brooks' message to his 1980 Miracle team: "You were BORN to be hockey players!" I picture Murph giving the same message to this Brewers team. These guys were BORN to be baseball players! I believe they can keep up the "Win TODAY" mentality and I believe we are going to see this great TEAM in the Fall Classic! Ueck's watching all this from the front row and I clearly hear him saying after each of these great wins, "How about THAT ONE, folks!" 💙💛⚾️💛💙

  4. Pocket mashed potatoes. I still remember Ueck telling the Pat Hughes Mashed Potatoes Story ("You get ONE SCOOP!!") He said Pat Hughes loved mashed potatoes so much he even had them in his pockets. God, I miss him.

  5. Vaughn has been unbelievable…but Milwaukee fans have seen this before! See the story of Bob "Hurricane" Hazle, Milwaukee Braves outfielder, 1957.
"In less than three weeks, from August 9 through August 25, Hazle batted .473 with 5 home runs and 19 runs batted in during 14 games. Hazle's sudden and unexpected burst of offense earned him the nickname "Hurricane." The original Hurricane Hazel had killed hundreds of people in North America in 1954.[3] In 41 regular-season games with the Braves, Hazle batted .403 with 12 doubles, 7 home runs, and 27 RBI." (Wikipedia)

Bob also collected two crucial hits in the seventh game of the '57 World Series. Let The Magic carry on!

  6. Please someone fire Jeff Levering… He's a likable guy with solid baseball knowledge and play by play, but his delivery makes his innings unlistenable. So, baseball is a slow game and announcers have compensated for that by over annunciation to keep listeners stimulated. I personally don't need it, and would have no problem ending the pitching and batting clocks to bring back longer games. But Jeff, I mean Jeff, do you have to over annunciate 80% of your words? Really? 80 'effing percent of them? My goodness. It's cartoonish and insufferable… Please stop…

  7. I left this comment on the highlights of the game where they came back from 5-0. You legitimately can never turn the game off with this team. They (and I do mean ALL of them) never give up. Until the 27th out, they always have a chance

  8. Jeff is so great at what he does. We are blessed to have him whether it’s on TV or radio. And man you know he loves Bob as much if not more than the rest of us.
