-Admittedly I’m a Carolina Panthers fan since ‘96, but I’m a Rodgers fan as well.

-This is a cool read about his leadership and ability to connect with his teammates. I respect his authenticity and ability to navigate the murkiness of public scrutiny, as well as his ability to inspire and resonate with players of all ages.

  1. I feel this leadership dynamic is missing from our team and I consider you guys fortunate to have him in that locker room and on the field, even at card games

  2. While I don’t agree with many of Rodger’s personal views, I never thought he would be a locker room cancer as some have argued he would.

Aside from a couple of seemingly outlier stories, I’ve only heard players refer to him as a good teammate.

  3. According to the article “handing out loads of free peyote” 🙄

    Saved you a click.

  4. I didn’t want him because of his outspoken views (and dishonesty, for which he’s expressed regret but not apologized) about vaccines and conspiracy theories. I have to say though that he’s been all business since he signed, and I wonder if that might even be written into his contract. We might get through this if he keeps it up.

  5. I will have other things to do with my Sundays now that Tomlin and Jr have sunk to depths that have Dan and Art Sr. spinning in their graves. I’m ashamed to be a fan any longer.

  6. Let’s wait until the first loss and a 2 INT game. He won’t hesitate to throw anyone under the bus.

  7. Every fucking box is checked going into this seasons and vibes are all time high. Will be interesting to see the character of the characters revealed during adversity but praying for the best.

  8. Not surprising, they are there to play football and Rodgers knows how to do that very well.

All of the weird grandstanding about what these guys do in their personal lives (that isn’t harming anyone or illegal) is very strange. Probably just a result of this weird parasocial and identity driven way we consume everything now. Live and let live.

  9. I just really hope he doesn’t start throwing players under the bus after a few losses.

  10. People dont like him because he was so outspoken about the covid debacle. I always thought that was ridiculous. He seems like a hippie. His teammates seem to like him. Who gives a shit. Im rooting for the guy

  11. We’re looking for the guy to win playoff games not win friends like it’s grade school
