Caught a game last weekend at one of my favorite ballparks, lifelong SF fan who moved here a few years back. Been many times, first time sitting club level. On the way, I had been joking with my wife about finding a beer vendor who asked trivia questions and gave out baseball novelty items.
In the early innings while watching the game, noticed something being waved at me. It was the beer vendor, who handed me a pack of SF baseball cards/items and continued quickly up the steps. Caught me off guard and although I shouted thank you, not sure he heard.
Hope this story can get back to him somehow. I’m a baseball nerd and had to share somewhere, my wife didn’t find as cool as I did. Thank you, Richard.
