  2. This trade makes no sense…. Ken Holland during the draft, has a formula to his teams. He likes to follow and it's not breaking in 2 Young defensemen at the same time, they just traded jordan spence to replace him with the guy with more experience.

  4. Love Byfield and I think he has more upside than Mctavish, but no way I would give all that, top 3 pick top 5 pick and a first in a loaded draft no thanks.

    I think the defense has a lot of ???? But Reinbacher the answer, you will need to show me.

  10. Byfield isn't physical he's quite soft, actually. His hands and speed are elite, but hockey sense and shot are lacking. As a Kings fan, if they trade him, they trade him. The Habs should give up Demidov for him FTW

  14. Reinbacher is no move. Byfield would be great, but not for Reinbacher… Future pairing look like Ghule/Dobson and Hutson/Reinbacher for top 4. Other D may be moveable, but not these four. I like Gally and Anderson with Evans, so the third line is Newhook, Bolduc and one of Valeno/Florian/Beck/Blais/Kaponen… all of this IF there is no trade after the Price bonus payout next week…

  20. Absolutely not for that trade. We gave up drafting michkov in order to grab Reinbacher. So a potential first line superstar winger was passed over for a potential top pairing right hand defenceman. I would love to have by field to make that second line super dangerous but you want to toss in a potential second line centre AND a first round draft pick in a deep draft? No way.

  21. Let me blow your mind. Laine on top line, Suzuki will make up his defensive whoas. Cole and Ivan will be dynamic together making any center that much better to adapt to offence first mentality. That leaves a lot of great possibilities for the last 2 lines. Which will lead into the highest scoring 4th line in the nhl.( galley, Evan’s, Anderson)

  25. We know Hughes won't trade Reinbacher. Why even post this stuff?? Maybe if it was for McDavid but im sure Hughes would wait till McDavid is a free agent next summer…….. If McD hasnt signed by season gm 1 I guarrantee All 31 teams are making sure they know how to trim their roster next summer making room for the maximum cap dollars the league allows for 1 player. Cause incl Edmonton all 32 teams if McDavid wants to play there would be willing to give him the max!!!! So no more Reinbacher trades unless its to Edmonton for Connor

  27. That Byfield trade proposal is offensive. Imagine you make that trade and Dach finally has the season he has the potential to have, you've just given a 1st rounder and an amazing prospect for nothing.

  29. Althoug Byfield is and will be a great player, Kirby D. Is just as good if not better. Add Reinbacher, and a first graft choice is ridiculous ! Keep the team as is and see what happens before considering other trades!

  32. I don't know how you don't have Gallagher on the 3rd line after the season he just put up. He was a rock for the team last season. How many 20 goal scorers are on 4th lines in the league? Pretty sure 3rd line is Bolduc on his natural left side, Newhook as 3C (hopefully they've worked on his faceoffs in the offseason), Gallagher on the Right. Evans moves down to the 4C, Veleno probably out, and fill the last spot with some young prospect that shows up in training camp like Blais, Roy, or Kapanen like what happened with Heineman last year. I do think the 2nd line is what you've said here though, however I'm not sure I have confidence it will stay that way throughout the season, for whatever reason be it performance or injury.
