  1. Loved watching him run behind the OL. Same with some of those KC guys around then. Hoping KJ is the second coming

  2. I know he gets hate here bc of his holdout, but he was my favorite rb to watch. Bettis of course for his pure violence, but Bell had the best vision (ok one of the best visions) of an rb with his patient run style and it always felt like he could break a home run with any carry, because once he committed to a lane he could be gone for 6.

His whole contract situation also changed the current CBA and a lot of player behavior with contracts and holdouts I think trace back to him, something else of note about him.

  3. He was excellent but that running style only works behind an o line made of 1st team all pros.

  4. One of, if not the best vision. Paired with his cutting and acceleration just led to him being absolutely incredible. Wish he stayed in Pittsburgh. Both parties would have had much different pathes over the few years after

  5. He was an amazing runner, and pass catcher, with great vision. Too bad he didn’t have the speed of a Willie Parker.

  6. How could give 2 shits for a player … after sitting out that playoff game… no heart! So happy for him reach is goal for a bigger better deal with the JETS … oh wait…

  7. He had an amazing line. His receiving was better than his rushing but definitely was fun to watch .

  8. I got his jersey as a rookie after I saw him in Latrobe. All the other backs were doing drills and Bell steps up and was just at an absolutely nother level of speed and coordination. Like if you’ve never seen a football game before you’d recognize the difference.

I remember Tomlin was waiting and watching the other backs doing their drills and when Bell got up Tomlin is yelling “Come on Two Six!”

When he got injured in that one playoff game I knew immediately we were gonna lose.

I still have his jersey but haven’t worn it since he left. I’m not sure if I ever will again.

But damn he could have been one of the best of all time.
