Dansby Swanson & Ian Happ GO OFF in the Chicago #Cubs 11-7 WIN
The Cubs get the win 11 to7 over the Rockies in this first game of the three-game series in Colorado. The offense was great. A couple guys though had really standout days. Danie Swanson, we’ll start with him. Two home runs and a triple. He’s fantastic. It’s Colorado, but just enjoy the fun over this threeame series. And Ian Hap as well. Two doubles and a home run for him. So ba massive, massive days for those two guys at the plate. Look, it’s Colorado so it’s weird because the ball flies out of the ballpark. it’s easier to hit there. But all it can be right now is hopefully it’s a three good three-game series and the sign of things to come just putting better at bats together. So two good performances from those guys tonight and that helped the Cubs get the win. Kate Horton was solid through five innings. The bullpen was shaky. There’s no other way to cover it. Uh Ben Brown, Palmerance Kitridge got way too close for comfort there in the end. It sucks you had to use your high leverage guys like Brad Keller and Palencia even getting warmed up. But at the end of the day, the Cubs got the win and that’s all that matters.

If 11 is great for our offense, what is 7 for our pirching and/or defense?
Bullpen is exactly what Jed paid for … serviceable at times, but not one dominant arm. He lied in winter about about "we'll address it at the deadline".
