I just wanted to do a little film session on Kenny Clark real quick. I’m on my way to do some do some other work, but I did want to get uh some Kenny Clark film out here. I wanted to show y’all uh two different things like him as a pass rusher first and then I’m going to talk about him as a run defender. I do think a lot of people see Kenny Clark like as a run defender, but uh let’s not sleep on his pass rush abilities as well. Let’s go ahead and take a look at him. Kenny Clark going to be in the middle of the defense right now. And I think that’s important because Kenny Clark is going to line up in multiple different places. And that’s kind of what this Cowboys defense has been looking like in training camp, right? You know, there’s no uh guy that’s only a one tick or only a three tick. Osa’s moving around. Um, Solomon Thomas is moving around. Perion is as well. So, if I had to imagine, I flu is going to be using those guys in the way that Green Bay has been using. Kenny Clark, take a look at him right here in AAP. Smacking the hell out of Ruiz there. Get your I don’t even know if that’s Ruiz. I don’t even matter who it is, but he’s smacking the hell out of him though. And um, you know, like I said, Kenny Clark hasn’t been talked about as a pass rusher enough, but I like you know, he he heard his toe last season, but the season before that, like he was a seven sack guy. So, I think that’s worth talking about here. Take a look at at uh Kenny Clark over here lined up in the four or the four eye, whichever one y’all want to call it here. Still using that that power, man. Kenny Clark is is definitely going to bring power and ass whoop to the party. Uh let’s just be clear there. And and I’ll I’ll talk about some other things later on, but like him, I don’t always recommend guys running down the middle of people, but dog, you you you can run down the middle of a guard here. And uh I hope this ain’t this ain’t something that that that bother y’all too much, but Kenny Clark up here hitting the hitting the you know what I mean? It’s just like he never left. is just like he never left. How about this play, right? Kenny Clark’s going to start off in Bgap here, but you know, he does have some wiggle to him, right? He’s, uh, a predominantly a A gap player, but Kenny Clark still does get up field and bust ass pretty quick in a hurry. So, uh, let’s not get confused on this, right? Kenny Clark come out of his stance, bam, and looping. And look, let’s just be clear. Number 93 did a really good job of clearing all this out. But just giving you different ways you can line up Kenny Clark and different ways to use him here. You feel me? Let me uh bam, bam, bam, and get us ready here for this one. I really love this play from U Kenny Clark. It’s in a passing game versus the Bears. They run a little run a little screen here, but this just kind of shows some of the veteran savvy. So, Kenny Clark right now, he’s going to be attacking from BAP. Going to run this forward. We call this retracing footsteps. Okay, so Kenny Clark’s going to get upfield uh towards uh Justin Fields there. They’re going to dump it off on the slow screen. Bam. And Kenny Clark immediately, take a look at him there. up field, up field, but immediately he’s gonna retrace his footsteps and get back into the screen and uh add himself to the party, right? That’s just veteran savvy, veteran awareness with these big bright ass blues, uh with these big ass pants that the that the Rams got on. Take a look at at Kenny Clark right here in Bgap. Let’s run this and then see. All right, cool. This the fun stuff. Okay, this where we start to get into the uh the uh the run defense. Let me go bam. Bam. Bro, they are trying to double to uh double team Kenny Clark. And I wanted to to be sure to show you guys a variety of plays of Kenny Clark in AAP, Kenny Clark in Bgap, him getting doubled in Bgap or him one-on-one. Right? I’m going to show you different types of plays in in different types of situations. We saw uh that, you know, last year teams disrespected your edge player so much that they’ll double team your B guy player, right? Hey man, that’s cool. But if you going to double team Kenny Clark, you know, Kenny Clark is a guy that that one, he knows how to go through double teams, splitting them, or he can get down, make a pile, or he could just uh just break just break through, y’all. Like once you once the the combo starts to develop himself, right? This is what I mean by that. Right. He’s hanging in there. B gap. I’m I’m doubled. I’m doubled. And then once 73 goes off to go block the linebacker, Kenny Clark is one-on-one with 77. That’s one thing that I’m very critical of, you know, some of the other Cowboys tackles there is that they get so caught up in the fight that they can’t see. They can’t even tell where the ball is going, right? Kenny Clark is going to keep his eyes on the ball at all times, even being doubled. So, coming off here, bam, getting over, boom, getting in on the play. Kenny Clark got a lot of plays like this. I like this play right here because it shows him versus versus uh like elite top tier competition. This is Creed Humphrey right here, the center uh from the Kansas City Chiefs. And Kenny Clark is just going to bam stand his ass, man. I mean, come on, bro. Just in a one-on-one. Kenny just staying square. Bam. Good extension, looking around, finding the football, coming off, making it happen. Bro, I I don’t know what the the how the actual scheme like, you know, I know that they’re scheming Kenny Clark to get up field and I just showed you a bunch of plays of Kenny Clark getting up field, but if Kenny does have to stack and shed at some point, man, he has the ability to do it. And it’s on the goal line. Pardon me. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam. It’s on the goal line versus one of the best uh centers in the in the National Football League. You know what I mean? Kenny Clark is a big strong powerful square fella. Uh so that’s just one way we can um we can uh we can just get better there than putting him next to Osa, next to uh some of these other guys that’s going to be lining up at edge. Michael Par isn’t here anymore, but you do have a bunch of edge edges that are formidable. You may not have one superstar player, but let’s just be clear, man. You do have formidable edges. is it’s going to be tougher for those edges. It’s going to be tougher for Dante Fowler, Don Vanzaraku, uh you know, Sam Williams and and company, whoever. You know, Marshon Ne depends on how much he’s out there. Uh you know, it’s it’s it’s going to be tougher for those guys not having Michael Parsons, but bro, it it is what it is. Mike can’t hear no more. Micah is the ops. Now, take a look at Kenny Clark and BAPA, right? Run them doubles again. Bam. But look at his eyes, bro. Kenny Clark’s eyes are constantly in the back field looking looking for the running back. When that split happens, what’s most important to me, what’s most important to me is that immediate contact. Bam. Kenneth Clark just ain’t back here immediately. Right. That’s the one thing that I feel the most great about. Like he’s holding his ground. He may give up, man. He gain ground, dog. Hold on. I was like, damn, boy. Cuz look, what I looked at was uh from the line of scrimmage, I looked at Kenneth Clark’s feet on uh on this line right here and I was like, and you can kind of tell how much ground is given or or taken up. And I was like, “Hey man, at least Kenny Clark didn’t give up any ground.” But man, Kenny Clark took a little bit of ground, but still kept his eyes on the back field to deal with the running back. Hey man, Kenny Clark is going to be a fun player uh to to break down and, you know, keep tabs on. I just said on social medias, man, that two things can be true. I didn’t want to uh necessarily trade Michael Parsons and you know the the the trade compensation is subjective, you know, for everybody. Everybody’s going to have a different opinion on how they feel about the the trade compensation. But one thing that could be true regardless of those other things being true, I do think Kenny Clark has turned into one of the better players on your defense. I do think you get much much better in a gap or just DTack or however they use it. Uh and um I think Kenny Clark is a fantastic fit for us and what we’re trying to do. All right. Appreciate y’all, man. Y’all hold down until next time. Love y’all to pieces. [Music]

  1. What Clarke is going to do for Oas’s game and the help it will give the LB’s is an upgrade in the grand scheme of things. Clarke occupying those OL so the backers can keep clean and roam is what Eberflus does, that’s his defense and when Overshown gets back(hopefully at about 90%)then it will help the team, team, team. Maybe Micah is the missing piece for the Packers but he wasn’t for Dallas and they had to have more pieces. Wished it would have happened in March cause then I think they could’ve got more but it what is so let’s get it with what we’ve got, mines against yurn

  2. A younger Kenny Clark I would’ve been all in, but he’s towards the end of his career, not sure how much value we can get out of him

  3. Jerry is gonna have to earn my eyeballs this year. I'll watch in the playoffs. For now I'll just be watching you guys talk about my Boys. The madness has to stop.

  4. It’s bad for business to have 50% of your cap tied up in 3 players. The team results are never good. That what the Cowboys would have been doing if the signed Micah.

  5. Clark is a good player no questioning that, in exchange for Parsons though? Idk if he makes as much of an impact but the run defense should be better in the middle

  6. It's good to be positive, but who are opposing offenses looking to key on now??? Who are they afraid of? Are we out of 30 yrs of mediocrity with this trade or are we wearing the same ole socks once again. Lol

  7. I want to HIGHLIGHT the importance of that veteran IQ play on realizing the screen and turning back to the receiver as opposed to continuing at the QB. MICAH NEVER UNDERSTOOD THAT! His eyes were never aware of anything but chasing the qb…. It worked sometimes but all the other times it hurt.

  8. With micha gone you can pay Tyler Smith daron bland and Pickens and we get 2 first round picks these next 2 years and people forget tre Hendrickson is on the market next year kayvon from gaints will be free or if they pay him burns will be free and we got James Houston who I'm excited to see and are EZ from bc get to see what kneeland has in passrush Depot and what Sam can do after his ACL surgery the glass is really half full if you look at it

  9. The addition of Clark doesn’t just improve the run defense because he’s a true run stopper—it also means he won’t be getting pushed back into our linebackers’ feet. That gives the LBs space to actually hit their run fits, something we haven’t had in a long time. Clark also helps the edge rushers: pressure up the middle forces QBs out of the pocket, making it easier for the edges to contain and get home.

Micah, on the other hand, is a situational elite pass rusher. When the Cowboys were losing, he was nowhere to be found. Teams ran right at him and he looked lost. Once blocked, he often just gave up on the play. The amount of times I saw him standing around while the play was still alive was sickening. That’s when I started losing respect for him.

Look at guys like TJ Watt, Myles Garrett, and Maxx Crosby—they play to the whistle, every snap. They know they’re the best player on their defense, and they rise above to make big plays when it matters. When did Micah do that for us? Maybe his first couple seasons, but not lately. Teams have figured him out and made him close to irrelevant.

I’m loving this trade just with Clark alone—and that’s without even knowing what the draft picks will turn into. DC4L ✭

  10. We got a no bs dawg family man with a repaired foot and football IQ. Packers got a full time social media video gamer part time edge rusher that gets cancelled by running at him. $47m a year no refunds (Jerry laughing)

  11. IDC what anyone says i liked that we got rid of Micah. Great player dont get me wrong But he is a podcaster man🤦‍♂️ Since he been with us he just talk to talk n dont back it up when it comes down to it. 1 sack in how many playoff games ??? I dont see us going crazy this year but in the next few years i can see it. Jerry a business man he knows what he is doing. 4 1st round picks in 2 years give me that any day over

  12. Thank you , thank you thank thank you,,please tell me why past cowboy players could not do this,,,, it it's not just technique,,, DAM THAT LIE AND LIES, LIES, THIS GROWN ASS MAN STRENGTH, HELLO, NOW FJND ANOTHER MAN,,LIKE HIM IN THE TRENCHES,, MAKES LIFE EASY FOR EDGE RUSHERS, ITS TEAM FOOTBALL, MICAH IS GONE, HISTORY…IF YOU PHYSICALLY WHOOPING ASS AT THE POINT OF ATTACK OR GAINING YARDS,,,WITH OTHERS IN THE TRENCHES,, NOW YOU OTHER LINEMEN BRING THE PAIN.. MIZZY YOU NEED TO WATCH. KC. HOW BEAT THE GUY IN FRONT OF YOU PHYSICALLY, WINFREY. GO GET IT

  13. I think the main thing about implementing Clark into our DT room is that he's not only good, but, he's consistent at holding his line or punching through or getting out of a block to go and grab the RB.. we haven't had that in several years now. I'm gonna say it now… I think Clark and Osa will become 1 of the best DT duos in the league before the year is over with. They compliment each other very well.

  14. Ima be honest i dont know dude like that, all ive heard from other people and packers fan is were gettijg an older guy, that is in the decline of his career, and coming of am injury AND is injury prone, please correct me if there wrong?

  15. Bye Micah!! It was real!! Water under the bridge, let's go handle our business cowboys!! We got bitch ass eagles to deal with in 5 days!!!
