Being this good literally the year you’re drafted is LUDICROUS !!!! Never in my WILDEST dreams would I have ever thought we’d get this return for Kyle Tucker’s last year… AND we got a top three 3B in baseball under team control till 28??????!?!?!?
Even if he plateaus into a 2-3 WAR avg player (unlikely imo, his attitude and work ethic combined with athleticism and natural defensive talent are all but a LOCK for him to be a perennial 5-8 WAR guy, and God only knows how good he can be if he gets real power) he’s perhaps the greatest trade return we’ve ever had in franchise history… really giving the JV and Cole trades a run for their money.
