Miami Dolphins 2025 Roster Predictions!

I feel a little bit better. I don’t know how my voice sounds. This was an incredibly difficult video. Again, I do this to myself every year and it is difficult. [Music] What is up, Finn fans? If I sound like Doodoo Butter, you all know why. And if you don’t know why, then I will inform you why I am sick. On Saturday, Friday night into Saturday, I woke up with 103.6 fever, covered in sweat. It’s fantastic. Then I took some more ibuprofen and went back to sleep. Woke up with 10.9 fever. A little bit better. Then I proceeded to live stream the game. The fever went down a little bit. Wasn’t feeling great. End of the stream, my fever went back up. And then now today being Sunday, my fever is gone, but boy do I feel like garbage and my voice sounds like garbage. But I will continue doing what I do, which is this stuff. So every year I try to make a prediction of what the roster will look like before the cutdowns happen, which is due tomorrow by four o’clock. Some of the cutdowns have already happened. Some players already been released. Craziness has already ensued. Um, if I cough a lot, I do apologize. again. I I’m sick. Um I am going to get the vlog out to you guys today. I know a lot of you guys have been like, “Where’s the vlog?” Hey, I want to see the vlog. I know. I’m going to get it out to you today cuz it has the stadium tour to it, which is really, really cool. Uh so, we’re going to get into this. It’s all I got for you. Let’s get into this. Uh I had to get down to 53, right? You have the three special teamers, which is your punter, your kicker, and your long snapper, who is Joe Cordona. uh your punters, Jake Bailey and Jason Sanders, which he’s fine. He’ll he’ll be good. I needed to get to 50. I got to 53. So, technically my roster is at 56. It It was difficult. It was incredibly difficult. And we’re just going to jump into this is what the offense looks like. Uh obviously, I have three quarterbacks in Tuongo, Zach Wilson, and Quinn. Uh you you might be asking yourself, Doug, what the flip? Where’s Jaylen Wright? He’s on IR. I I started him on IR. Obviously, we heard um if you didn’t, we heard from um Mike McDaniel that his injury is kind of weeks away. Uh I will kind of tell you exactly what he said, but the injury apparently is something more severe, not season ending, but also something severe. So, so Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright is week to week per coach Mike McDaniel said they’re still evaluating him. So, I just kind of needed to do something. So, I put him on IR. I’ll be out for the first three three week four weeks. Olli Gordon, throw him in there. Mike Boone, maybe even Sheffield is thrown in there. We’ll see. But there’s that. Then you see the receivers here. I have Tyreek Hill, Nick Westbrook, Taj Washington, Jaylen Wadd, um Destridge, and Malik. I have Theo Whis, Andrew Armstrong, and Easy E over on the practice squad. Uh outside of that, no one else made the roster really. Then you have your tight ends. uh is your four tight ends. They are who they are. You got Alec Engold as the fullback. Offensive line was incredibly difficult as well. You’re not going to have thousand offensive linemen. And you see here Liam Mikeberg obviously is making the roster. Daniel Brunskill is my guy who’s going to play guard center situation. Also, you have Liamberg who also can play guard and center. So, that’s why I have those two. And then Keon Smith. No, I do not have Larry Boram making the roster. And if he does, that’s a a crime in itself because Larry Borham was not good. Um, especially in that last game. But that is it. Offensive guys, apologize. Offensive guys that I, like I said, I have Mattos making the practice squad. Um, and that is it. Probably more offensive linemen make the practice squad. Again, this is incredibly difficult to do. Oh, and Mayor, I have him um going to IR. So, first four weeks. But again, having Brunkill and Liam Mikeberg, um they can play guard and center. So, I’m not really worried about the um backup center position until Meyer comes back. Now, we have Lady F. This is where it got really difficult for me. Uh especially with like Mo Kamara and Derek McClendon and Matt Dickerson and Ben Still, Zeke Biggers, all these guys. But you can see here my defensive line, Chop Robinson, Matthew Judon, Steeler, Kenneth Grant, Bonito Jones, Jordan Phillips, um Matt Dickerson, Bradley Chub, and Grayson Murphy. That’s my defensive line. My linebackers, I only got four. Jordan Brooks, Ty Dodson, Willie Gay Jr., and Kenny, uh KJ Britt. I did not have Channing D. They’ll make the roster. Sue me. Uh, and then you got your strong uh, linebackers in Jaylen Phillips and Quinnon Bell. Um, then your corners, Kendall Sheffield, Jack Jones, Cam Smith, uh, Storm Duck, Jason Marshall Jr., Mike Hilton, Cornell Armstrong, and Isaiah Johnson. Some of those corners not might may not make it. I think that’s where I was having the difficulty of getting down to 53. Your starting safeties, Ashton Davis, Mika Fitzpatrick, Fatu Mfano, Elijah Campbell, and Patrick McMorris. And for the practice squad, I have Saunders, uh, Robinson, Biggers, McClendon, and I have Dickerson written down, but I didn’t get rid of Dickerson. So, if he’s moved off, then practice squad, but as of right now, I have them on there because again, I’m at 56. I need to get rid of three. It was very, very difficult. But that being said, there’s a lot of moves that could still happen. Like I said, there’s a lot of cuts that are still happening, apparently. The uh Patriots are shopping Kyle Duggar, which is interesting to see as well. Um the J the Eagles are making moves. They um traded for offensive tackle Fred Johnson and traded away their other offensive t uh tackle in uh Darren Kennard, which Kendall Lamb, if he’s released, will the Dolphins go out and grab him? There’s also news of the Cowboys releasing their tackle. Oh, his name is just escaping me. Someone tagged me in it asking me about should we go after him. And no, I don’t think so. Um, but I will tell you who it is in about two seconds. All right, here we go. This is why I appreciate you guys always tagging me. Le Collins was released by the Cowboys. He can’t stay healthy. Um, would I be upset if they brought him in to make the, you know, have a depth piece at tackle? Because the Dolphins don’t really have a tackle. I got Keon Smith is the only tackle on the team right now again because Larry Borm is just not good. He’s just he’s bad and he was bad on uh Saturday and giving up a ton of pressure. It was just a bad time. Very very bad time. Um, but the again making the making this 53 man roster making the IR and the practice squad, it is difficult. I didn’t even get down to um 53. I got to 56. Your punt return and kick returner. I to me it should be Malik Washington and Taj Washington. I think the Washington Bros should be your kick and punt returners. Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Wadd, anyone else. Maybe even Destroy could throw out there. Anyone else? No, don’t even touch him. But if you notice too, the wide receivers I have making the roster are short besides Nick Westbrook. Outside of that, like Theo Whis Jr., Andrew Armstrong, I’d like to see him make the roster, but I don’t think they’ve done enough to overtake Taj Washington and Malik Washington and D. Estridge and Nick Westbrook. You know, I don’t think they have done enough to jump them. And you know, even tight end situation, Darren Waller, thank God, is you know, dressed and seems to be practicing. Uh, but like Tanner Connor, Julian Hill, Farrell Brown, those are your guys. Chris Merrick, I cut him. You know, he’s kind of a backup fullback situation. I got rid of him. There’s a lot of offensive linemen. I got rid of Jackson Carman, uh, Josh PBY, Addison West, Braden Daniels, uh, Baron Mattos also is going to go on the practice squad. I think I forgot to mention that. Uh, but he’s also an exempt. I think he’s a roster exempt. So, I don’t think the Dolphins need to put him on the uh practice squad. But this roster is going to be interesting. And you’re going to get a ton of videos and a ton of content from me in the next two weeks, kind of previewing the 2025 season. We’re going to be looking at the expectations of the team, looking at the expectations of the quarterback, why you should be optimistic for 2025, why you should be pessimistic for 2025. I’m going to give you my record predictions. I have so much. And then obviously, you know, we got the previews, I got my picks, I got so so much going on in the next two weeks for this channel because we are getting full throttle into uh the start of the season. Now, like I said, tomorrow by 4:00 teams have to cut down to 53. So, I will react and make a video tomorrow uh talking about who got cut and yada yada blah blah blah. And then Wednesday afternoon, not afternoon, but after 12:00 noon, uh is when you can start claiming waivers. Now, some players will go up for waivers, some players will just be released and you can just sign anywhere. I’m going to talk about that. And then again, like I said, you we got Thursday and Friday, and then we have Monday, Tuesday of next week, and then I give you my pre. So, I have a lot of videos I have to do in a short amount of time. So, you’re going to get a lot of content. I might even be making videos on the weekend. Hopefully, my health comes back quickly because again, I don’t like sounding like doodoo butter. Uh, you’re going to get two videos today. Like I said, as soon as I get done with this, I’m going to make the uh vlog video. So, that’ll also be out later today. I talked to you guys on the live stream about the fact that the NFL is kind of cutting down and being really strict about uh film and if you know their film being on YouTube and a lot of it’s getting demonetized and stuff like that. And if that is the case, I I will try week one, but if I get demonetized and everything, I will it will be a Patreon exclusive for film breakdown. But I got a lot planned for you guys. Like I said, uh comment below what’s your 53 looking like. You don’t have to put the whole thing. You can just say, “Well, I disagree with this or that.” I’m very interested to see what you guys have to say. Tomorrow’s going to be interesting. Cuts are probably already going to start happening. This video obviously is going to come out at 7:00 in the morning. So, cuts are going to start happening today. They got to get it all the way down to 53 by tomorrow. But again, essentially, you have your kicker, your punter, and your long snapper. There’s three. They have to cut 40 people. No, technically 37 people to get down to 50, excluding your special teamers. So, it’s going to get nuts. And then obviously, you’re going to want to claim people and you’re going to want to sign people because certain good people will be cut because they have too many of goods of other situations. And then you got to hope that your player makes the claim list so then you can add them to the it’s going to be crazy. So comment below. I will see you guys later today in the vlog.
