Ugly win, but we accept those.
I like when we win baseball games
I like it when we win
scrawnybruisedjuliabutterfly
That got a little sweaty and the end but I’ll take it
pfft, strikeouts are overrated 🙃
# DAAAAAAAAA CARDINALS WIN!!!!
The Power of the Groundout, brought to you by the Cardinals’ pitching staff.
Let’s keep winning and see what happens ..
With the exception of Ivan’s 7 games in March/April, and not counting today’s game, Pedro has had the best month by any Cardinals player this year, and it’s not even close.
Whew. Nice series win. Glad we could pull this one out with Pallante looming tomorrow
Well that was an interesting win.
A win for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. They met at SLU.
I don’t strike out with your mom either.
This is like the 2nd time in the last week or so the other team has bunted with 1st and 2nd and no out.
Why would you ever do that? Especially when you are down by two. It’s so easy to get a force out at 3rd base, which is what happened both times.
Pretty or not, it’s fun to remind the Reds who they are
We may not be World Series Champions this year, but tomorrow we have a chance to become the Champions of Sixty-Nining and achieve the coveted record of 69 and 69. My personal World Series.
Yay

Last few games have been fun as fuck!

Winning a game against Abbott is NOT easy. Sko Birds!

It’s cool to see the daughter of a great reliever of the Whiteyball era, Ken Dayley, conduct a podcast for the team on STL Sports Central.
Gorman played a solid third base today.
Ngl was watching football today. But yay for the win
This team is such a fuckin anomaly man, they have so many maybes up and down the lineup that all have the potential for solid seasons down the road but I can’t think of a single concrete, non-injury-prone leader of this team. It was Willson for a bit but he genuinely seems fuckin nuts and I can maybe see why they pulled him out of the catchers position (let’s be real he isn’t in the same ballpark [intangibles matter!!])
I see Donny as irreplaceable but he is flirting with injury-prone status, there are a ton of young guys who are right on the edge of being serviceable, just not right now. Our “veteran leader” in Arenado aged out (checked out?) last year. Yet they’re still playing competitive ball against a team that’s still in the WC hunt.
Also McGreevy, kid is a fucking stud and is the very definition of lock-tf-in. Ship Pallante and Liberatore off, drop Mikolas off at sea, clone Sunny once and clone McGreevy like 4 times (just for backup) and that’s a solid rotation.
And one more addition: Church is a stud in the making. I see it, I feel it. I will not take any backlash from this
How do they still not know the rules of an infield fly
Really liking McGreevy. Thought he lost it for a second in the 5th but good showing for the kid
