  1. Abreu has been fucking nails for us all year, so there’s no frustration with him at all. This offense has to completely turn it around. Struggling to score against the worst (Rockies) and second worst (Angels) pitching at the end of the year is unacceptable.

  2. I’m not one of those that thinks firing the Cintron and Snitker will help all that much. I can’t think of any offense that suddenly got better after firing their hitting coaches.

However I think at some point you have make a change just for accountability reasons. The offense has looked the same for 3, maybe even 4 straight seasons. High contact low slug with a lot of weak contact on pitches on or off the edges. I doubt that is entirely on the hitting coaches, but it is the one change you can make that shows you recognize the problem and shows fans you are looking for a solution.

  3. Sometimes your best guy drops the ball. Every team in the playoff race lost today so chin up for now. Abreu needs more rest days

  4. This offense is beyond pathetic. If the pitching hadn’t been so good this whole season this team would be below .500

  5. 5 more pounds of muscle and Cam hits a homer there, great game by Arighetti!! dude is getting BETTER AND BETTER every start!! Him and Javi coming back at the perfect time, can’t win them all! lets go stros!! 3/4 is gonna be AWESOME for us, hopefully we are just exposing our weaknesses to the staff so they can fix them before the postseason!!!

  6. Angels just got Astro’d.

Websters dictionary defines getting Astro’d as when an opposing pitcher with a 5+ ERA comes in and dominates, that pitcher got Astro’d

  7. Abreu got blooped to death. It happens, and he’s been nails for a good while before today.

Our inability to hit shitty pitching is what lost us this game.

At least the Mariners lost, again. But can we please figure out how to hit, because we’re starting to run out of road.

  8. I don’t even know what the offensive approach is at this point. Have to change something at the coaching level. Expecting the other team and the pitching to bail out the offense is not sustainable.

  9. This offense is starting to look like the offense we had the last 2 weeks of the regular season and the postseason of 2024. I’m really hoping that this isn’t just a culmination of a team with too many injuries and too much fatigue and that we can turn it around heading into the final stretch. There’s still time to figure it out.

  10. Lot of negatives we could talk about with the offense and all but wanna give props to arrighetti had a great night on the bump, he was throwing some nasty stuff today

  11. If we can’t get our hitting figured out, there is no way we survive the next… shit… 20 games.

  12. Where’s “No Argument Here”
Dude blocked me because I said something that didn’t fit his agenda. Lmao don’t be a stros fan if you’re so soft 😂😂😂😂 Stros in 7

  13. Just pathetic, on a day where we could have pulled away from the mariners and caught up to the blue jays this team couldn’t give you more than one run AND THATS ONLY BECAUSE THE ANGELS MADE AN ERROR. 2 runs in 18 innings we have yordan back there is no more excuses.

  14. Texans football next weekend thank god. I’m tired of being strung along by this offense.

  15. ![gif](giphy|tdw6NJfrGS6ESnqwzc|downsized)

Feels like we are crawling into the play offs with our offense this year..and we really shouldn’t be 🙄 our hitters are better than this!!

  16. Had to grab a quick bite after Kimbrel got that fly out to end the inning. Missed the rest of the game. What happened?!

  17. Good rotation? Check.
    Shaky bullpen? Check.
An offense that can’t work counts, chases everything AND can’t bring runners home? Definitely check.

Yeah this is the most obvious repeat of last year that I’ve ever seen lmao

  18. IMO, this is 100% on this currently struggling offense.

Even the win Friday night was painful. Bases loaded, 15 (IIRC) people stranded, and awful slugging.

Outside of the blowouts against the Orioles, the last 15 games have been abysmal. What pitching staff they have will be shot by the time they make it to the playoffs.

  19. Pena , Altuve, and Yordan should be the only ones allowed to swing at first pitches. Everybody else work a goddamn count
