Abs second for one on the first. The double play. Ground ball deep in the hole. Abrams and Garcia get it done. And there’s two down. Brings up the Ray’s best power threat. Junior Keanero. Drops it to the middle down. You see Hassel where that head is. Here’s the pitch. And that’s low ball four. So Abrams took a change up and CJ Abrams coming off a three hit game has backto-back walks. CJ off again. Throw down by Fiducia. Not in time. And Abrams has his second stolen base today. Yeah. One thing I love about CJ is like how fast he is. But that lean that he gets. Line drive to left and there’s the Nat’s first hit. Well done by JB there. Yeah. Line drive out to left field. But just watch as his hands just fly through the zone and just flicks it that way. And strike three called. That’s on that outside edge. Adams trying to coax the walk there. Here’s Dalen Lyle. One on, one out and a ground ball down to first. Seabard down to second one. Back to first and the Rays get the double play. Williams in the middle. 363 it goes. Dylan Cruz will lead off the bottom of the fifth for the Nationals. Trailing the Nets are four to nothing to the Tampa Bay Rays. And a fly ball lifted to center. Mangum tracking that one. Sun played a little part of that one, but he made the catch. I I think this is going to be his last batter either way. Well, let’s see. Here’s Robert Hassel. And that will take care of Hassel out in front of another change up. He has been beat a couple of times by the fast ball. Now, how about this change up? But it’s a thing of beauty. And third and Monero up and out with the throw. Man left on base. That’s a change up. Just kept running in. Obviously, he gets some really good late action on it. That’s going to be caught out there. Nicely done. The line drive started to sink on Josh Low. Had to split the gap and get all the way to the wall and Louis slides in. Slides in with a leadoff double here. Bottom eight. will change up away. He fouls off and they try to go fast ball up and away and they miss in. There’s the pull. Hassel out to right center. That’s going to fall for a base hit. Garcia had to hold up to make sure it dropped. So, he will only advance 90 ft, but they’re at the corners with nobody down for the top of the order. And James Wood. The two coming to Wood is squared up right up the middle. That was a missile off the bat of Wood. It’ll score Garcia. Zen Hassel to third and her in business. Bottom eight. James Wood with a rocket up the middle. Gets the Nationals on the board with a single at 114 mph. Runners first and third. Nobody out. A run home. CJ Abrams faces Griffin Jacks. And a swing at Miss. Boy, he made quick work of CJ Abrams for the first out. That’s exactly what the Rays needed right there. And ooh, that is strike three called. How about that? That sweeper right to the edge. and there’s no complaint. So now they’re loaded up with two outs and Riley Adams will be the banner. It’s a little tapper. Going to be a tough play. Bare hand pick up and throw. And he got him. Camo coming in from third making a heck of a play with that throw to Seymour. Boy, everything impressive about that. Griffin Jacks works out of a first and third nut out jam and minimizes damage here in the eighth. Bottom of the ninth inning. Nationals trailing four to one and they’re going to face right into Brian Baker. Two out and the Rays are one out away and a ground ball right side Brandon Laauo with the toss to first and the Rays win this one. It’s a four to one final.
