  1. Officially secured a winning road trip. Almost at October baby

  2. You know the Rockies are bad when your team wins a game 4-3 in Coors Field. Great pitching tonight from the Cubs staff

  3. Fun fact: Palencia’s name originally means flat land or plateau. And so Danny came in and leveled the Rockies in that inning.

  4. Is this the time of the year the Cardinals magic gets going and they knock the Mets out of the wildcard?

  5. Great pitching. 3 GIDP is brutal. Hopefully we can better execute with RISP tomorrow

  6. I know the advanced metrics hate him, but I love the Assman. Almost always keeps the Cubs in the game and gives them a chance to win

  7. The playoff spot isn’t completely secured, but it might as well be: the Cubs’ lead over the Reds hit *ten* games after tonight.

  8. Not sure when the last time the first 4 hitters in the lineup all had multiple hits. Great to lock this one down without getting that big RBI knock like last night.
