Are the Edmonton Oilers a team of destiny? Presented by @JasperAlberta

this Oilers team, they just have a different vibe about them this season. Team of destiny, question mark. Absolutely. And I think the reason why you feel that way and why everybody feels that way is again, it’s the way this playoffs has has gone and the way that they’ve won these games from the the tying goal, it’s kicked in. Then they review it and it’s barely touched. And then Hiller, for whatever reason, decides to challenge and they score 10 seconds later and they win that game. And then the next game they score with 30 seconds left to go to overtime. That would have been going 3-1 back to LA. They go into Vegas and win two games on the road in Vegas, including a second game that they had no business winning if not for Calvin Pickard, which is also overtime. Then they have devastating they they lose with point4 seconds left and they come back with back-to-back shutouts. Like this is all the kind of stuff that makes you feel that way about a team of Destiny. These are crazy, crazy, crazy outcomes.

  1. Every team that advances deep into the playoffs, has these similar moments, it isnt “destiny”. It is playoff hockey, and being narcissistic about your team being “the most special”, lol. That is until they loose?
