Padres vs. Twins Game Highlights (8/30/25) | MLB Highlights
Here is the second twin start for josh Bradley. First start for the Twins at home at target field. He started against the White Sox and a leadoff walk to Fernando shows bunt down the third base side. That’s the third baseman Lewis over to first base in time to get a nice job getting Fernando over to second base. Now, two guys in scoring position with two outs and loo coming up and the pitch is swung on and lined back up the middle and the inning is over. So a couple of walks but no damage done. Another cutter and it’s lined out to second base and boy, we’ve talked about it a lot this year with the Padres have needed something of a stopper. Nick has been their guy. It’s win night and he lined this one sharply through the left side for a base. Had Iles hug in the bag at shortstop and Larn made it pay for it. Picked up throws a little bit off target and Iglesias could not get the tag down. Yeah, the throw looked off line once again, a huge jump, huge jump strike three called on the inside corner got him at 95 down on strikes, first strikeout of the evening for talking about a guy who has got the fifth best, er, a in the national league, seventh most innings to go along with it. He’s been a work horse. He’s been a stopper and frankly , he’s been a, there’s a rocket to strike him out and two down in the second upstairs with the heater, two pitch swing, foul tip held on and he’s down on strikes, retires the order the side in order three strikeouts on the night and one away in the top of the third. Here’s 22 pitch in the left field line drive caught by out for it and caught it for a minute there. I didn’t know if that was going to let it bounce or if he was going to dive, he was kind of going back and forth, didn’t look decisive, but he gets the ball and makes the out good read on that. He got a good jump on it committed to the, to the dive. 22 swung on and missed, he swings through a curveball and Taj Bradley with a 123, 3rd inning bet strikeout. And now it’s larn with runners on 1st and 2nd big spot for Trevor Larnach 02. Pitch out hit through the right side. That’s a base hit for Trevor Larnach. Outman is coming home. The throw from Tatis its to the plate not in time out with the game’s first run on an RB I single ride from Trevor Larnach had three hits yesterday off, three different lefties. He’s got two hits tonight, both off a righty and he adds to his RB I collection twins lead it one nothing Bradley becoming after him with a fastball through about three or four splitters in a row. More act like a changeup. He struck him out. Cutter, doubt it inside a little strut off the mound from Bradley two down split righty righty split. And that was the pitch that when Bradley was acquired from Tampa Bay Burke went to ST Paul and that’s what the team wanted to work out with. Bradley that splitter trying to find a little bit more depth in it. Cheats was the first strikeout victim of the night for Bradley Swan hit into right center field , buck track and buck track and buck dives. Buck makes the catch. Josh Bradley on the mound loves the effort and we have seen that route that play four years and Byron Buxton, no panic, no problem. A diving pick in right center. And I would say we’re seeing why they wanted him when they put Griffin Jacks on the trading block tapper right back to the pitcher. He’ll jog over and under and flip. There is out number two, he’s been fun to watch today. Taj Bradley Bradley on some kind of role Padres looking for their first hit of the night. And how about that a Diaz to deep left field, not only the first hit but it tie game 11 seventh of the year for the catcher Earth pitch. He and he was ready blast his ball out to left 107 off the bat and he knew it immediate went into his trot. Padres get even here in the top of the fifth on a solo shot by Diaz tie game in the bottom of the fifth innings. Perfect time for a shutdown inning for #### Pata. Now Byron zero for one with a walk swinging a fly ball into right field and deep. This one caring towards the dock and that is gone opposite field two run homer from Byron Buxton and the twins answer back. It’s 3 to 1. Now that potential 3030 season even more drama. Now as soon as the Padres tied his game up, wins get the lead right back, arise hits it hard but right to Lee and he bobbles it, Padres get a gift and Arra aboard to begin the sixth. Take advantage of that routine grounder and it can happen to the best of them. 12 pitch hot shots going to get through the left side past the diving Brooks 1000 hits. Now with the Padres now runners on 1st and 2nd for the Padres. Padres with a dangerous guy at the plate down by two here in the sixth loo hits it hard and in the left center, a base hit is on his way home. He’ll come in to score the throw to third, no shot to get manny and into second base goes Liano. It’s a one run game here in the sixth. Always putting together a good at bat. Let’s take a look at the pitch and want it in and it’s up and, and he gets the hands to it on the high sinker. Let that one go by. He will score easily. Not out of the danger zone here. A couple of guys in scoring position with one away. It comes set in the 12 pitch hot shot past the diving second baseman in the right field for a base hit and he is going to score Tim. He is going to hold up Mariano as the throw comes in on an RB I single by G. She’s to tie this ball game up 3 to 3, an absolute rocket. Luke Kishel who was trying to die for it but he had no chance bases loaded two outs in a tie game. Sixth inning line drive up the middle. Kishel played perfectly up the middle two of two down that will bring up cody Clemens. Oh Wendy Clements popped up shallow center field coming out hard as Lorean’s got a long way to go dives and makes the play by ramon Lorean does make the catch for the final out spectacular diving catch by ramon Loo 33 1st and third. Nobody out top of the seventh inning of a 33 time setting up a nice situation here for Manny Machado Machado bangs it through the left side of base hit Tatis will come in to score and for the first time tonight, the Padres lead. It’s four to three. Yeah. Power versus power, but that power bat smooth as ever cool as ever an opportunity for a crooked number here two on, still nobody out and that’s on a line out to left center field. Our eyes on his way home from third, he’ll score. The throw goes to second base and 1/4 straight base hit to begin. The seventh inning has put the Padres up 5 to 3 Gavin sheets with two on and one out right handers 2 to 2 offering swung on line drive base hit to right field. Manny Machado is going to score and the rally continues here for the Padres. The throw goes over to third base as o’hearn is going to hold his ground at second an RB I single for Gavin sheets 63 lead. Now for the Padres here in the seven oh, another RB I single. Padres sent eight guys to bat last inning and now cronenworth , the eighth guy to hit this inning runners go and cronenworth to left field is back, he is at the wall and he can both runs going to come in to score as Cornor into second base and the Padres have busted it open 8 to 3 here in the seventh, five runs. Seventh inning, just move in the line and now all nine guys have come to bat here in the seventh. It’s that one in the air to deep left field, another shot for out. It’ll be over his head and gone a home run for Diaz his second of the night, a first pitch homer in the fifth inning and he gets pitch seven here in the big battle in the 7, 10 to 3. San Diego that will bring up ramon Mariano. He made an excellent diving catch to put an end to the rally in the sixth inning. And Liano steps into one that’s out to deep left center field and leave the yard. How about another two run shot here in the eighth 22nd of the year for loo, his seventh is a Padre and they pour it on 12 to 3. Alec Jacob coming into the ball game for the Padres to finish this one up, popped him up and it will be cronenworth calling off Wagner to make the catch and a 12 3/9 inning for Alec Jacob as the Padres roll over the Twins here tonight by a final of 12 to 3.
Elias Díaz hits two home runs, Ramón Laureano hits a two-run home run, and Adrian Morejon pitches a scoreless sixth for the win in the Padres’ 12-3 victory over the Twins.

Win the series
Playin absolutely B A N A N A S! LOVE IT!
San Diego overcame a rough patch with a gem from Nick Pivetta and a break out from the offense. Let's go Padres! 😀🤎💛
Who makes these CRAPPY edits? The first 2 minutes, an unseen bunt by Arraez and men on 2nd and 3 with 2 outs, without showing a complete play. Honestly, if they pay them to do this, I'll do it much better for the same price! Because the truth is, it seems like the person editing this DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT BASEBALL.
EXTEND LAUREANO!!!
You're facing the Twins. That should be easy. We're a mess.
Way to get back in this way to break the losing streak
The Padres are definitely in position to take one of the NL wild card berths, but I'm still concerned about how inconsistent they are– especially offensively.
Three home runs today and a mess of baserunners.
Yesterday?
Nothing. And against a near-5.00 ERA pitcher and a club recently dismantled.
Padres need to stop overworking fermin and play Diaz more often. 👍👍👍
Díaz es un bate confiable
Don't drop your glove Nick. Home runs are inevitable when you're pitching competitively. All that matters is the next AB
Brooks Lee handles three grounders Muff, out of position, out of position. Great defense! Rocco demand better.
Former Twins fan here… Pohlads retaining ownership has ensured I root for the opposing team – great win today!
Where’s my 12 minutes of highlights mud promised
nice dubb
Now that is how you take care of business Padres!🟡🟤
Machado dah pena 😢
Diaz!!!! Loreano! Pivetta!!! You guys are killing it!
And the Padres step on Dodger heels. As long as the Dodgers continue to go sleepy-bye against bottom feeders the division belongs to San Diego.
Where is merril?
