Them: 2-1 against the worst team in the MLB.
This one is for the random cubs fan who was yelling that the Cubs were going to catch us when I was wearing my Yeli jersey at a Diamondbacks minor league game.
Unbelievable. We are truly a team of destiny.
Crazy thing to me is if Brewers go 14-10 the rest of the way, Cubs would have to go 21-4 to catch the Crew.

Following that Cubs game along the ESPN ticker on VT-SC game and seeing the Rockies lose the lead and then the finish brought a tear to my eye.

Pirates moved their rotation around. We no longer are slated to face Skenes and he likely lines up to face the Cubs in their mid September series

All I hoped for was just one Cubs loss to the Rockies this weekend. I didn’t expect the Brewers to hold down Toronto’s offense for three straight games.
I seem to remember in July you also lost to the Rockies in 11 innings – just saying those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones…..
