Tennessee Titans football is back and if you want to have the most fun you could possibly have this season, you need to stay locked in right here with me on Locked on Titans. But with all that being said, again, I think the Tennessee Titans get out to a rough start this year, but I ultimately think they do finish strong. Now, this may not sound great, and I understand that, but I have the Tennessee Titans winning five games this season. I have the Titans going five and 12. Again, again, again, again again, I know that when you hear that, that does not sound great. And make no mistake about it, it’s not a great season, but I think the Titans can win five games and just barely show enough progress to get us going back in the right direction and then set up for a really, really good and competitive 2026 and 2027. I think that’s what we have to expect here is incremental improvements from the Tennessee Titans. Again, this is a very, very young football team with a rookie starting quarterback with a head coach who is a younger head coach in the NFL who is only going into his second season and still has a lot to learn. There’s so much about this football program right now that’s brand new to each other that I think the Titans start slow, but then they gel together midseason and they have a great finish to the year. And I think I continue to point to the Carolina Panthers from last year who ended up with the number eight pick. I think they went five and 12 as well. Might have been six and 11. But either way, the Panthers were terrible early on. New head coach, young quarterback. Things weren’t going great. Now, of course, they benched Bryce Young. I don’t want that to happen with Cam W. Of course, there’s no Andy Dalton’s on this team. But they found their stride at the end of the year. They built positive momentum going forward. Dave Canales feel strong. People are more excited about Bryce Young. The Panthers are going in the right direction the way that they played at the end of the year. They really battled with the Eagles and the Chiefs and all that. And I think the Titans can replicate that. So that is the most optimistic view of the season is that the Titans finish strong. Now, if the season doesn’t go the way that I think that it might go here and they finish 5 and 12, I think there’s a good chance that Brian Callahan is fired. But if he can survive the rough early start and keep the team bought in and keep the guys listening to his message and then they finish strong and they all start to kind of believe in themselves as a young group going forward, I think that could still be a very successful and a very fun season for all of us. But it starts out with a loss to Denver. And I gotta tell you guys, spoiler alert for the end of the week when I do my game prediction, I do not think the Titans are gonna be very close with Denver. I don’t think it’s going to be a super high-scoring game, but I just think Denver is a significantly better football team with a significantly better coach with significantly better continuity, the total opposite of the Tennessee Titans. So, I think Denver is a loss week one. Now, I want you guys to play along with me. Let me know your record predictions for the Titans, how many wins you think they’re going to have this year. You can go gameby-game with me on social media, Tic Tac Titans, Locked OnTitans anywhere, or of course in the comments if you’re watching on YouTube. But then you go to week two and you got to play the Los Angeles Rams. And again, what a very, very, very difficult first two weeks of the season. You play Denver, you got to go across the country. You got to play in elevation in a place that historically in the opening month of the season is one of the most difficult places to play in the NFL because of the elevation and what it does on your body. And you add in the Broncos stuff that we talked about earlier. That’s tough. And then you come home and you play the Rams. I think the Rams, if Matthew Stafford is healthy, which right now it appears he’s going to be good to go for week one, but I think the Rams are one of like the top six or eight teams in the entire NFL when Matthew Stafford is healthy and rolling. Like they’re super super talented across the board. And I think even coming home and playing a home game, to go all the way to Denver and play a physical Denver team that led the NFL in sacks last year and then come home and have to play a physical Rams team that was one of the best teams in the NFL last year. That’s just a difficult start, man. So, I’m going to have the Titans lose in both of those games. But week three is a must-win against the Indianapolis Colts. And I think the Titans do win that game. I think the Colts are the worst team in the division this year. They’re going to go 5-1 12 or 4 and 13. In my opinion, the roster isn’t quite as bad as the Titans, but the quarterback play, I think, is going to be worse. And I don’t think that, you know, Shane Stiken is some incredible coach. I don’t think he’s bad, but I don’t think he’s good enough to flip Daniel Jones into a playoff guy again. I just don’t see that happening. So, I think the Titans win at home against Indianapolis. So, they’re one and two after three weeks. I’ll be honest with you, that wouldn’t be all that bad. But, I think the next stretch of games is where things get really, really difficult for the Titans. So now you got a three-game roadie. You go at the Houston Texans, at the Arizona Cardinals, at the Las Vegas Raiders. Now, I know Houston isn’t significantly west of Nashville, but that’s three straight games where you got to go west, you know, and yeah, one game to Houston isn’t that bad. But now it’s followed up with at Arizona at Vegas. And Brian Callahan already said that they’re not going to stay out west on this trip. They’re going to come home. So Houston back Arizona back, Vegas back. That is so much stress on your body. That is so much travel for the Titans. And Arizona was a very competitive fighting for the playoff team last year. I think that Vegas is going to be significantly improved under Pete Carroll, a real NFL head coach, and Gino Smith, a real NFL quarterback. I think they’re going to be a significantly improved team. I think the Titans lose all three of those games. They lose at Houston, they lose at Arizona, they lose at Vegas. Now, I think that if I did a different variations of this prediction, I would have the Titans, my initial record prediction was like seven and 10, I believe. I had the Titans winning one of those two Arizona Vegas games. Like, if the Titans want to keep their season on track, they have to come home from the West Coast backtoback of Arizona and Vegas. They have to come home with a win in one of those games. But, I’ll be honest with you, I just don’t think they get it. I just don’t think that they do. So, we’re six weeks into the season and unfortunately I have the Titans at one and five right now and I’ll be honest with you, it takes a couple more weeks before things start getting better. Do want to let you know that today’s episode is brought to you by game time. Again, I have the Titans going 5 and2 this year. A very, very slow start to the season as we discussed through the first six weeks. I have the Titans at 1 and5. Very tough West Coast road trip. Three straight games, two really, really difficult games early on. But then they get into the middle part of the season and you know things don’t go well here in my opinion and this is really what I would call the Brian Callahan zone. This is the Brian Callahan zone where if Brian Callahan’s going to get fired, it’s going to come in this stretch of games, the next six weeks of games. Especially because if the Titans are 1 and5 and they head to a home game, they come back from three straight games on the road out west and they come home and they play Mike Vrabel’s New England Patriots. Now, this was a tough game for me. Again, this is a moment where if the Titans as a football team, if the Titans care about their head coach, Brian Callahan, there is no way they can lose this game. If the Titans go to one and six with a home loss to Mike Vrabel’s Patriots, that might be tough for Brian Callahan to get out of, folks. That would be difficult. It absolutely would. Now, I have the Titans losing that game. I think the the Patriots and the Titans are close, but at this time, and I know the reaction to this, but at this time, there’s no way in the world that I can say that Brian Callahan is a better football coach than Mike Vrabel. Can’t say that. Now, that doesn’t mean that Mike Vrabel should have kept his job in Tennessee, but what it could mean is is the Titans just hired the wrong guy. and they hired the wrong guy and Ran Carthon and Rancon hired the wrong guy and Brian Callahan. That’s what I mean when I say that. Not that I wish Mike Vrabel was still the coach cuz I know that, you know, we all think about the good old days when the Titans were a better football team and they were winning and Mike Vrabel was the coach. So, of course, you’re going to say, you know, wish Mike Vrabel was back. He was and he certainly looks like a better coach than Brian Callahan right now. But not to relitigate the situation, but if you were really locked in and paying attention, you saw the struggles the Titans constantly had on offense. 27th in points or less three out of the six years Mike Vrabel was here. You saw the hiring issues with offensive coordinator and other places on the staff like a Craig Aerman. You know, like Mike Vrabel had his warts. So I I think that he deserved to be fired. But it’s very possible that the Titans made a mistake with hiring Brian Callahan. And I think if Mike Vrabel comes in and it’s ugly, if Mike if the Patriots win 3513 and the Titans drop to one and six, Brian Callahan’s fired. The problem is, and we’ll talk about this more in a second, what happens after Brian Callahan is fired, which is why we’ll get to it, but then the Titans go to Indianapolis after they play New England. And again, I think this is a must-win if the Titans are going to really beat my projection. If the Titans want to win seven or eight games this year, they need to win that game against the path to seven or eight wins includes more wins early on. It includes winning one of the Vegas and Arizona games and it includes winning one of the New England and at Indianapolis games in week seven and eight. That’s that’s what they have to do. But I’ll be honest with you again, I think they lose to New England. I just don’t think it’s an absolute blowout. If it is a blowout, again, it’s going to be crazy uh crazy time. I think they go to Indianapolis and they split. Look, I don’t think the Colts are very good. I don’t think their quarterback situation is very good. I think the roster is okay, but I don’t think the Colts are going to have a very good season, but at the end of the day, I don’t think that they’re significantly worse than the Titans. So, I think it only makes sense that the Titans would split with Indianapolis, both team taking one. That seems fair to me. Then the Titans come home and they play the Los Angeles Chargers. And I think the Chargers are going to be an awesome team this year. They’re way better coached. Super physical up front. I know they have some injuries with Rashawn Slater and their wide receiver group isn’t the best ever, but their run game and they’re so well coached, solid on defense. That’s really where I’m looking at the Chargers though is their defense. I think that could maybe not be as good, but they’re going to be so good on offense and such a well coached, physical, prepared football team that I just there’s no way Brian Callahan has beaten Jim Harbaugh in a coached football game when Jim Harbaugh has a much better roster. There’s no way, man. I just can’t buy that. So, the Titans go to the by-week here. They get their byee and at this time they’re one and eight. And if they get to the byee at 1 and8, it’s going to be tough for Brian Callahan to keep his job. But here’s the problem. If you fire Brian Callahan, Bill Callahan probably goes with him. And how many of these older coaches who came here to get a job? You’re not wrong about that. They wanted a job. You know, it’s not like Dinard Wilson and Brian Callahan are drinking bros or anything like that. You know what I mean? But like I think you know like a Frank Bush for example or a Tike Tolbert you know older veteran coaches who Brian Callahan respected and brought in. I think those guys could be like well I’m out too. I’m not going to stay. And you know like how in the world would Bill Callahan stay on coaching this football team after his son was fired? And what are they going to do? Promote Bones Fossil to interim head coach for the rest of the season? You know, like I think the reality is Brian Callahan’s not gonna get fired during the season. I have him going one and eight into the buy and he’s not fired. I don’t think the Titans want to fire Brian Callahan during the season. They know that the team isn’t great and it’s just going to create controversy and it’s going to stunt growth of Cam Ward in the middle of the season. I think that Brian Callahan gets the entire season. I don’t think he’s going to get fired during the season. That’s where I that’s where I fall. no matter really what happens unless it’s really really bad and there’s you know like you never know controversy and scandal and all anything off field. So I’m not going to say like it’s impossible. You never know what’s going to happen in the world. But I really do think the Titans would have to be like I mean 0 and 13 or something for him to get fired during the season. Like I it just I don’t think the organization wants to make rash moves like that. I just don’t. So at the bye-week 1 and8 Titans come out of the buy chomping at the bit and beat the Houston Texans at home. The Titans play the Texans at home in the game after the buy. And I think the Titans do get a win. And I think that this begins again, they’re 1-8. They come out of the buy, they get a win, they’re two-8. I think this win against Houston at home proves to the Titans like, “Hey, we were locked in. We had a better plan. We had a by-week. We’re good enough to do this. Got my collar all messed up, but we’re good enough to do this. All right, we got to turn it on the back end of the season. So, I think that win at home against Houston will mean a ton for the vibes of the team. But then they have to play Seattle the next week. And look, again, Seattle is an inflection point in my opinion. If the Titans can win that game, they give themselves a chance at a ceiling season instead of a floor season. But I don’t think they beat Seattle. It’s another situation where I think it’s a super well- coached football team with a super great talented defense. Like that defense is going to be awesome this year. Their offense I think will just be okay. But I think the Titans offense will just be okay. the Titans. So, if the Titans have to go up against a really tough defense from Seattle and then Seattle’s offense has to go up against maybe a good defense from the Titans and Seattle has the coaching advantage. Like, it’s just going to be it’s going to be a difficult game. I think the Titans can win that one. I’m not as confident in that, but I’ll go with a loss to Seattle because I think Seattle is a pretty good team. So, right now, the Titans would be two and nine with six games left. But I think the Titans go on a big time run here to, again, I mentioned the Carolina Panthers. They go on a big time run here to finish the season strong. Doing my official and final record prediction for the Tennessee Titans. We’re going game by game through the schedule. Right now, we are at 2-9. We are at two-9 for the Tennessee Titans with six games remaining on the schedule and I think the Titans finish very, very strong. Before we dive into that though, do want to thank you again for making Locked on Titans your first listen each and every day. Remember, I got a a special thing coming out on tomorrow’s show. Locked on Titans Fantasy League. Got a new program for you guys to get some additional insights and content from me. Can’t wait to roll that out on tomorrow’s show. Make sure that you don’t miss it. But we’re 2-9. We just lost to Seattle, but now we got a home game against Jacksonville. And I think the Tennessee Titans win that game. I think the Titans start to feel themselves a little bit coming out of the buy. They beat Houston. They lose close to Seattle. They’re starting to play better football. They take it to Jacksonville at home. That’s two wins out of the last three weeks and two of them being division wins. You know what I mean? The Tennessee Titans are now three and nine. It’s not great. It’s not good. But they’re telling themselves, “Hey, maybe we go on a little bit of a run here.” Okay. And then they get to go to the Cleveland Browns. And I am begging the NFL, I’m begging the Browns, please let that be Cam vers Shador. Please, we need it. We need it. That’s a great storyline. That’s what the world needs. Let’s hope. But I don’t care whether it’s Joe Flacco, whether it’s Shador Sanders, whether it’s Dylan Gabriel, whether it’s u who do they just signed recently? Bring on another quarterback after they got rid of Tyler Huntley and they let him go. Blah blah blah. They bring in another quarterback and like I don’t care. Jesus could play quarterback for the Cleveland Browns that day. I am taking the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are beating the Browns in Cleveland. One of the most fun Titans games I ever went to was the beatdown in Cleveland where Marcus and Derek put 45 on their head tops. I think that was the first game of 2019 as a matter of fact. But I think the Titans go in there and roll the Browns. I think the Titans start feeling it and it’s like, “Oh, what are the Titans doing right now? They were terrible. We thought Brian Callahan should have been fired. Now they’re turning things around. The Titans win three out of four. They’re four and nine. three out of four and four and nine right there out of the by-week. They win three or four games out of the by and we start to see it. We start to see it come together. We start to see the vision. Now they have some tough games in a row after that. So they’re what is it at this point? Four and nine and then they got to go to San Francisco. That’s tough, man. That’s tough. I know San Francisco didn’t have a great season last year, but they still have a ton of talent. And if they’re healthy, they definitely have a coaching advantage. You’re going across the country once again. I think the Titans, and this is part of my thing. I know that I’m about to say that I think they lose, but I think they play San Francisco tight as crap. I think that’s a tight and remember I compared this to the Panthers who played the Eagles and played the Chiefs really well at the end of the year even if they didn’t win and it was still a sign that they can compete now and I think the Titans go to San Francisco and play close. I think they lose you know 2420 something like that. Close game. Titans are in it all along just not enough at the end and then they come home and they play Kansas City and I think the exact same thing. I think the Chiefs win. I think the Titans lose to the Chiefs, sure, but I think the Titans play the Chiefs super close. And the Titans have a chance to win at the end of the game. They’re just not quite there. Just a young team that’s not quite there yet. So, two losses back to back. That would take the Titans to 4 and 11. All right. Well, then they have a home game against the Saints. And again, copy and paste what I said about about the Browns. The Saints are even worse than the Browns in my opinion. The Titans are beating the Saints at home. So that takes the Titans to 5-1 and then they play at Jacksonville at the end of the year and I think they lose that game. They split with Jacksonville. So they split with all of their division mates which is great momentum going into 2026. Like we can compete in this division. We beat all these teams. We’ve beaten all of them. So we’re going to do this. You know, we’re going to be fine. And then finishing with some wins to finish five and 12. You go four and eight in the last eight weeks of the season, that’s 500 football. If the Titans could go four and eight, well, not 500 football, but they go four and four over their last eight weeks. Four and four over their last eight weeks. That’s 500 football. If the Titans could play 500 football with a close loss to San Francisco and a close loss to Kansas City, if they flip one more of these games, if they win the New England game and step up for their head coach, if they win one of the Houston or Arizona games, just one of them, if they win that Seattle game, like, you know, there’s a path to them doing better. But ultimately going through the schedule, looking at the team, I think that this can be a successful season for the Titans, build real momentum towards 2026 for the Titans to be an actual playoff contender. And it sounds bad because it starts out so bad, but I I think this would be a great outcome. Cam Ward, rookie of the year off a good end of the season like that. Brian Callahan would keep his job and maybe show some promise. So, I know that five and 12 sounds awful and you’re all like, “This guy is a hater. He hates the Titans.” But I’ll be honest with you, that’s what I see and I still think that five and 12 can be a positive season that, you know, it’s not the best in the world, but I think we could have good moments and have a fun season even at 5 and 12. But again, let me know your predictions down below. Let me know how many games you think the Titans win, which games you think they win. But that’s going to do it for me today, folks. As always, I am your host, Tyler Roland, and this was Locked on Titans. [Music]
The Tennessee Titans have hit GAME WEEK and as they prepare to take on the Denver Broncos, it is the perfect time to look at just how many games the Titans will win this year. Tyler goes game by game through the schedule to give his final predictions on what the team does. Starting off with a really slow start to the season that could have Brian Callahan looking for a new job by Thanksgiving, the Titans look ugly early, but find a way to bounce back at the end of the year with some stellar performances and wins. It may not sound great, but 5-12 would be an improvement for this team.

idk what I'm expecting as far as wins. I just want to see Cam do well. I want him to show us that he can be the franchise QB. I think we will see that. He might have some bad games and moments but I think there's gonna be good stuff in there as well
Regarding New England and Vrabel's reunion…let's not forget he tended to struggle against rookie QB's. Not only do we get them at home, but the 2 games New England plays before us are both on the road. So potentially some fatigue there. With the added juice I think our team will play with I think we'll take that one.
Unless this season is like 7-9 wins minimum (which i highly doubt), fine Brinker and Borgonzi had to reset things and put a base down I get it. However, im not trying to hear patience next offseason if we are a 5 or less win team. There will be no project/coming off injury top 100 draft picks. There will only be a plan of immediate difference makers and 1 better be an atleast medium to high number 2 level receiver and the other better be a 10 sack consistent winning 1 on 1 pass rush edge. They dont gotta sit there and fill every weakness from this season, but im not listening to another offseason of "next year is when we expect these guy's to be ready."
My thing is I feel this team is far better than people think. You cant tell me if we didn't have a horrible qb last year that we would of been alot more competitive. So many close games ruined cause levis was a meme lord. We do have alot of new pieces but the core players from last year are still there. If Cam is HIM we may supsire alot of people 🤷
This record, guaranteed to have Callahan fired. There is no chance he survives only two extra wins. Shows no progression nothing
5-12? Better QB play will be a huge factor for us, and we may not have the deepest roster but that doesn’t mean we won’t be competitive. I see 7-9 wins this year.
Titans will win Super Bowl 60 17-0 Titanup 😅😅😅😅
Coaches will need to show their team commitment by camping out in the film room and learning multiple defenses and how to make offensive adjustments instead of using the same plays over and over expecting different results.
Titans 49 vs broncos 0 😅😅😅😅
6 and 11! Titan Up. Beat Texas twice.
Seems everyone is forgetting how good the defense was last season.
and how bad Will levis played.
2-3 wins tops. They are bad, the defense is awful and this year itll be worse. Callahan will be gone.
Should have kept vrabel and let him rebuild. I actually cant think of any team that this team is better than. 3 wins by luck maybe. The colts have a good team with potatoes at QB but dennards D cant stop a mobile qb. Jones is mobile enough to exploit this team. Maybe the saints, maybe.
If we are 1-8 I might not make it to week 10 😅
I think denard Wilson would be a good IHC
Bro let me tell you something I believe we will win more than 5 games you just watch and see… Titan Up..!
If vrabes can get the number one seed with backups ups and no henry and the most players on IR in nfl history. 🤷♂️ i mean if healthy and we dont have to go into the weak depth we have there is chance to sqeak out 7-8 wins
Titans 24 Broncos 34
There's no reason why the Titans can't have a 10 win season.
U can tell Tyler wants Callahan fired
Vrabel was 13-21 in his last two years he was Jeff Fisher lite. I am so happy I don't have to hear another presser with him saying "We gotta be better" Callahan needs 6 wins and 12 competitive games this year to keep his job.
They will need steady improvement as well as a little more talent in the WR department. Get camsome weapons and we might start a lil momentum
