You’ll find all my plays there. But let’s get right into it, guys. We got the Marlins headed into Washington to get this series going with the Nationals. Uh the Marlins are finishing up a series against the Mets on Sunday, whereas the Nationals are finishing up a series against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday. You know, the Marlins, shout out the Marlins, man. They went into City Field um this weekend. I don’t know what the result of Sunday’s game is going to be, but we saw them win game one. Um they got smoked in game two 19-9, but they pulled out a nice win in game three. Uh one that went 11 to8. You know, I kind of thought this was going to be a tough series for the Marlins. Um you know, this is a team that kind of started to fall off a little bit after going on a bit of a hot streak. And the Mets were kind of surging. So, I mean, this Marlins team has been pesky all season long. they have, especially on the road. And uh hey, who knows? Maybe this team is about to go on another run with how they’re looking in New York right now. On the other hand, Nationals are just on a full-blown skid, guys. Um this team has lost how many games in a row at this point? Two, five, seven. They’ve lost seven straight. Um yeah, I mean, we’ll see how their game against Tampa Bay goes on Sunday, but yeah, this team has been extremely streaky this season. We’ve seen the Nationals go on multiple extended losing streaks and uh yeah, when they’re losing, it’s not really a team I want to back. Um you see here when when you look at their last what four games, they’ve scored two or or fewer runs. I mean, that’s bad. That’s bad. And the thing about the Nationals, when this team’s not hitting, they’re they they have no shot. They have no shot to compete because we all know their pitching staff is horrible. um what have been able to save them in certain games and certain spots this season has been their bats. So once those go cold, it’s just not going to be pretty. For this one though, man, they are going against Ryan Gusto. That is getting the start for the Marlins. It has not been a pretty season for Ryan Gusto. Um you know, 936 RA in his last five. That’s not pretty. He’s coming off a start where he gave up nine earned in three and two-thirds of an inning against uh against the Braves. Not pretty. On the other hand, it does look like we got Mackenzie Gore on the mound for the Nationals, who it’s been up and down. Um, let’s see. Oh, actually, am I reading this right? Yeah, actually looks like Mackenzie Gore was placed on the IIL today. Literally five hours ago. Um, that’s crazy. So, this the pitching match up’s actually going to be to determine on uh on the national side. So, could be a bullpin game. Um, let me see. Let me see something real quick. I have it pulled up. Uh, could be a K Cavali start. It could be a K Cavali start as well. But man, um, well, that kind of changes things up. It really doesn’t change my pick because no matter what, I’m going to be on the Marlins. Uh, now that Mackenzie Gore is not pitching, I’m even like the Marlins more because I still think Mackenzie Gore is this national team’s ace. But this this national team just looks cooked right now, guys. And I I don’t love taking Ryan Gust. I don’t. Um, this is why this is probably not going to be one of my favorite plays because Ryan Guso has been terrible. But man, this Nationals team, I mean, you lose seven straight, they’re not putting up runs. When this team goes on a losing streak, they tend to stay on a losing streak for a while. Marlins are playing good right now. Man, it has to be Marlins for me, guys. But, man, taking Ryan Gusto is tough. Um, it kind of makes my stomach hurt a little bit, not going to lie. So, we’re going to roll with the Marlins, but it’s going to be a lean for me, guys. just a lean. So, that’s going to do it. I appreciate you watching this.
