Sometimes we get so caught up in the day to day games it is hard to see the forest for the trees. So here is the forrest: the Brewers are playing .500 ball and so are most of the playoff contenders.
24 games to go. They only need to start peaking the last week of the season.
(And if this last series was a look at the 2025 World Series — assuming we took the first two games at home — we just clinched it in 4 games on the road.)

Big break for the Crew that everyone seems to have hit those dog days at the same time we cooled off from the truly unsustainable pace of July and early August.
Get a day off at home without travel tomorrow – that will do the crew some good.
