Is there a stat that shows inherited runners that scored?
Passing the sage & sane trusted ‘eye’ test of experienced Tiger fans? Not so much.

The bullpen DID suck. Then they made a bunch of moves and now it doesn’t.

To be fair, people were saying that in July in which the bullpen was almost at a 5.00 ERA.

The doomers are dumb, but so is this. We have a whole season of data, making the sample smaller to fit a month on the calendar is dumb.

I wonder what it would be without the GOAT Finnegan?
It’s a lot of Finnegan and Vest tbh. And Vest has been good, he just doesn’t eat up a lot of innings.
If our ERA is not 0.00 or under, clearly our bullpen does suck and we should have traded minor leaguers like McGonigle who can’t help us now for more bullpen help! But not the pitchers that people were saying we should get that have sucked since the deadline. We should be smart enough to know who will suck or our front office clearly sucks in addition to not caring. Also, bring up McGonigle! To help the bullpen. I heard it on the radio somewhere. Why aren’t we doing that? … what was I saying about? I just want one World Series before I die. And a Super Bowl. And whatever the Pistons are doing. We should have traded Cade from some bullpen help. Fml.

Just stay competitive. Competitive ABs, competitive mound appearances, competitive inning to inning, and game to game. This is going to keep them in any series. I love to seeing these gritty kitties hanging around in October with this attitude.
