I don’t blame Kamara. One of the only WTF moves so far. JT Gray has been such a huge part of this team.

They released him? God damn. I guess they want a full rebuild
Big ass head scratcher here, unless he’s slipping up in practice and someone’s a ST ace down there, this is definitely weird
This doesn’t make sense. He is literally our best special teams player. Hopefully they give a reason. If this dude goes to someone in the division ima be upset. Honestly hope he goes to a contender

Are the Saints trying to be worse than the Jets?!?!
A special teams ace and ONLY a special teams ace. No versatility. My guess is there is little drop off in gunner talent behind him and the upside of developing younger more versatile talent.
Either that or something off-field/non-performance related.

Special teams guy who takes up a roster spot and doesn’t play on offensive or defense. Rebuild move…
Anyone worried this might turn the players against the coaching staff somewhat? They seem upset…
They probably gave the ST slot to a player who will contribute on offense or defense as well. Gray wasn’t a very good safety and at 29 they probably want to give a younger guy a chance to develop. I dunno if I agree, but I can see a logic to it. We’ll see.
Sucks but super star special teamer isn’t a need for team that doesn’t have a back up guard.
