  1. Welcome back Luis! We are one Jake Meyers away from FULL STRENGTH (and an Isaac Paredes and Josh Hader away from SUPER STRENGTH)

  2. Didn’t get to see the old “rock the baby”, but was a welcome sight for sore eyes in seeing Luis Garcia back on the mound with a solid quality start.

Offense got tired of hearing about all the lobsters and woke up today finally pushing them over the plate (even while still having 8 more today) and helped us get a comfortable win.

  3. Great to see Luis Garcia back at all at this point and then for him to pitch that well is a massive bonus.

Finally hitting with runners in scoring position is a nice as well

  4. What a great season debut for Garcia. Offense finally provides run support and shows signs of life with RISP.

  5. Well a split is still better than a series loss. Starting September on the right foot! Offense woke up and hit with risp! Garcia looks great! Now let’s go Rays!

  6. Gonna pull a bit of a Dusty-ism, just get 14 more wins. 90 wins will pretty much make the playoffs regardless of whatever else happens. So, they have 24 games left. Go 14-10, and make it to the dance

Also huge thanks to the Reds, Toronto losing today brings the 2nd seed back in sight (though we would need Boston to lose a few now as well). Just keep grinding through and winning, that’s all that matters.

  7. Welcome back Garcia! Solid win today.. now let’s go beat the shit out of the Yankees! Daddy homered today and he’s looking for more! Let’s GO!!

  8. 4-3 in 7 games in our 10 game homestand. Need to make it at least 6-4 but 7-3 would be amazing.

  9. Great win today. RBIs with RISP. Lusi Garcia returning to the mound after more than two years and have a very solid start. Pitching seems to be, collectively, on the upswing. Hopefully, what we’ve seen today from the offense means that we have been freed from the dog days of August at least.

Undefeated in September. Time for Altuve to spank some kids.

  10. Someone said we don’t play small ball well we small balled our way to a mfking W today!!!!!

  11. Astros have a winning September record 👍

  12. I think there are more people in Houston rooting for the Rays (in the current situation against the Mariners), than are Rays fans

  13. Been running errands all day, can’t wait to watch this one when I finally settle in for the evening
